Currently, there are five main bus stations in Hanoi, include Giap Bat bus station, My Dinh bus station, Gia Lam bus station, Nuoc Ngam bus station and Yen Nghia bus station. 1. Giap Bat bus station

Bus departing from this terminal will go to Northern provinces like Ha Nam, Hai Duong, Hai Phong, and Hung Yen, or moving to provinces in Central Vietnam like Thanh Hoa, Thua Thien-Hue and Da Nang, or even going to Ho Chi Minh City. There are many brands to consider like Anh Huy, Danatranco, Hien Phuoc, Vinamotor and so on. The price is based on the length of your trip. It takes around 900,000 VND going to Ho Chi Minh City, around 80,000 VND ($4) to Northern provinces, and 350,000 VND ($15) to Da Nang.

The popular and trusted brand is Hoang Long, but you can choose other ones such as Tuan Phuong, Van Minh, Phuc Loi and etc. A price of a bus ticket going to Ninh Binh, Thai Binh and Thanh Hoa is around 80,000 VND ($3.5). On the other hand, getting to Nghe An or Ha Tinh will take around 200,000 – 240,000VND ($8-10).
5. Yen Nghia bus station

You can take a bus going to Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Dien Bien, Hoa Binh, Son La, Thanh Hoa from here. There are many carriers such as Bac Son, Tien Phuong, Hai Van Express, Comaxa, and so on. The price of a bus ticket depends on the distance from Hanoi to your destination as well as the kind of bus. For example, a ticket of route Hanoi-Son La is around 220,000 VND ($10), but it might take 650,000 VND ($30) to getting to Dien Bien from Hanoi.
