1.청년의 때
전12:1너는 청년의 때에 너의 창조주를 기억하라 곧 곤고한 날이 이르기 전에, 나는 아무 낙이 없다고 할 해들이 가깝기 전에
Ecclesiastes 12:1“Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say, "I find no pleasure in them”
전12:2.해와 빛과 달과 별들이 어둡기 전에, 비 뒤에 구름이 다시 일어나기 전에 그리하라
Ecclesiastes 12:2.before the sun and the light and the moon and the stars grow dark, and the clouds return after the rain;
전12:3.그런 날에는 집을 지키는 자들이 떨 것이며 힘 있는 자들이 구부러질 것이며 맷돌질 하는 자들이 적으므로 그칠 것이며 창들로 내다 보는 자가 어두워질 것이며
Ecclesiastes 12:3.when the keepers of the house tremble, and the strong men stoop, when the grinders cease because they are few, and those looking through the windows grow dim;

전12:4.길거리 문들이 닫혀질 것이며 맷돌 소리가 적어질 것이며 새의 소리로 말미암아 일어날 것이며 음악하는 여자들은 다 쇠하여질 것이며
Ecclesiastes 12:4.when the doors to the street are closed and the sound of grinding fades; when men rise up at the sound of birds, but all their songs grow faint;

전12:5.또한 그런 자들은 높은 곳을 두려워할 것이며 길에서는 놀랄 것이며 살구나무가 꽃이 필 것이며 메뚜기도 짐이 될 것이며 정욕이 그치리니 이는 사람이 자기의 영원한 집으로 돌아가고 조문객들이 거리로 왕래하게 됨이니라
Ecclesiastes 12:5.when men are afraid of heights and of dangers in the streets; when the almond tree blossoms and the grasshopper drags himself along and desire no longer is stirred. Then man goes to his eternal home and mourners go about the streets.

전12:6.은 줄이 풀리고 금 그릇이 깨지고 항아리가 샘 곁에서 깨지고 바퀴가 우물 위에서 깨지고
Ecclesiastes 12:6.Remember him--before the silver cord is severed, or the golden bowl is broken; before the pitcher is shattered at the spring, or the wheel broken at the well,
전12:7.흙은 여전히 땅으로 돌아가고 영은 그것을 주신 하나님께로 돌아가기 전에 기억하라
Ecclesiastes 12:7.and the dust returns to the ground it came from, and the spirit returns to God who gave it.
전12:8전도자가 이르되 헛되고 헛되도다 모든 것이 헛되도다
Ecclesiastes 12:8."Meaningless! Meaningless!" says the Teacher. "Everything is meaningless!"
전12:9.전도자는 지혜자이어서 여전히 백성에게 지식을 가르쳤고 또 깊이 생각하고 연구하여 잠언을 많이 지었으며
Ecclesiastes 12:9.Not only was the Teacher wise, but also he imparted knowledge to the people. He pondered and searched out and set in order many proverbs.

전12:10.전도자는 힘써 아름다운 말들을 구하였나니 진리의 말씀들을 정직하게 기록하였느니라
Ecclesiastes 12:10.The Teacher searched to find just the right words, and what he wrote was upright and true.
전12:11.지혜자들의 말씀들은 찌르는 채찍들 같고 회중의 스승들의 말씀들은 잘 박힌 못 같으니 다 한 목자가 주신 바이니라
Ecclesiastes 12:11.The words of the wise are like goads, their collected sayings like firmly embedded nails--given by one Shepherd.

전12:12.내 아들아 또 이것들로부터 경계를 받으라 많은 책들을 짓는 것은 끝이 없고 많이 공부하는 것은 몸을 피곤하게 하느니라
Ecclesiastes 12:12.Be warned, my son, of anything in addition to them. Of making many books there is no end, and much study wearies the body.
전12:13.일의 결국을 다 들었으니 하나님을 경외하고 그의 명령들을 지킬지어다 이것이 모든 사람의 본분이니라
Ecclesiastes 12:13.Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man.
전12:14.하나님은 모든 행위와 모든 은밀한 일을 선악 간에 심판하시리라
Ecclesiastes 12:14.For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil.
