살후3;1끝으로 형제들아 너희는 우리를 위하여 기도하기를 주의 말씀이 너희 가운데서와 같이 퍼져 나가 영광스럽게 되고

2 Thessalonians 3:1 Finally, brothers, pray for us that the message of the Lord may spread rapidly and be honored, just as it was with you.

①rapidly[rǽpidli] ɑd. 빠르게, 재빨리, 신속히

살후3;2또한 우리를 부당하고 악한 사람들에게서 건지시옵소서 하라 믿음은 모든 사람의 것이 아니니라

2 Thessalonians 3:2 And pray that we may be delivered from wicked and evil men, for not everyone has faith.

살후3:3주는 미쁘사 너희를 굳건하게 하시고 악한 자에게서 지키시리라

2 Thessalonians 3:3 But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen and protect you from the evil one.

살후3;4너희에 대하여는 우리가 명한 것을 너희가 행하고 또 행할 줄을 우리가 주 안에서 확신하노니

2 Thessalonians 3:4“We have confidence in the Lord that you are doing and will continue to do the things we command”

①have confidence in 확신하다.

살후3;5주께서 너희 마음을 인도하여 하나님의 사랑과 그리스도의 인내에 들어가게 하시기를 원하노라

2 Thessalonians 3:5 May the Lord direct your hearts into God's love and christ,s perseverance

살후3;6형제들아 우리 주 예수 그리스도의 이름으로 너희를 명하노니 게으르게 행하고 우리에게서 받은 전통대로 행하지 아니하는 모든 형제에게서 떠나라

2 Thessalonians 3:6 In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we command you, brothers, to keep away from every brother who is idle an d does not live according to the teaching you received from us.

살후3;7어떻게 우리를 본받아야 할지를 너희가 스스로 아나니 우리가 너희 가운데서 무질서하게 행하지 아니하며

2 Thessalonians 3:7 For you yourselves know how you ought to follow our example. We were not idle when we were with you,

살후3;8누구에게서든지 음식을 값없이 먹지 않고 오직 수고하고 애써 주야로 일함은 너희 아무에게도 폐를 끼치지 아니하려 함이니

2 Thessalonians 3:8 nor did we eat anyone's food without paying for it. On the contrary, we worked night and day, laboring and toiling so that we would not be a burden to any of you.

살후3;9우리에게 권리가 없는 것이 아니요 오직 스스로 너희에게 본을 보여 우리를 본받게 하려 함이니라

2 Thessalonians 3:9“We did this, not because we do not have the right to such help, but in order to make ourselves as a model for you to imitate”

살후3;10우리가 너희와 함께 있을 때에도 너희에게 명하기를 누구든지 일하기 싫어하거든 먹지도 말게 하라 하였더니

2 Thessalonians 3:10 For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: the one who is unwilling to work, shall not eat.“

①unwilling내키지 않는

살후3;11우리가 들은즉 너희 가운데 게으르게 행하여 도무지 일하지 아니하고 일을 만들기만 하는 자들이 있다 하니

2 Thessalonians 3: 11 We hear that some among you are idle. They are not busy; they are busybodies.

①busybody 참견하는 자.참견하기 좋아하는 사람2. 주제넘게 나서는 사람

살후3;12이런 자들에게 우리가 명하고 주 예수 그리스도 안에서 권하기를 조용히 일하여 자기 양식을 먹으라 하노라

2 Thessalonians 3: 12 Such people we command and urge in the Lord Jesus Christ to settle down and earn the bread they eat.

①settle down정착하다. 안정하다.

살후3;13형제들아 너희는 선을 행하다가 낙심하지 말라

2 Thessalonians 3: 13 And as for you, brothers, never tire of doing what is right.

①tire of 싫증나다.

살후3;14누가 이 편지에 한 우리 말을 순종하지 아니하거든 그 사람을 지목하여 사귀지 말고 그로 하여금 부끄럽게 하라

2 Thessalonians 3: 14 If anyone does not obey our instruction in this letter, take special note of him. Do not associate with him, in order that he may feel ashamed.

②take note of 주목하다.

살후3;15그러나 원수와 같이 생각하지 말고 형제 같이 권면하라

2 Thessalonians 3: 15 Yet do not regard him as an enemy, but warn him as a brother.

살후3:16평강의 주께서 친히 때마다 일마다 너희에게 평강을 주시고 주께서 너희 모든 사람과 함께 하시기를 원하노라

2 Thessalonians 3: 16 Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you.

살후3:17나 바울은 친필로 문안하노니 이는 편지마다 표시로서 이렇게 쓰노라

2 Thessalonians 3:17 I, Paul, write this greeting in my own hand, which is the distinguishing mark in all my letters. This is how I write.

살후3:18우리 주 예수 그리스도의 은혜가 너희 무리에게 있을지어다

2 Thessalonians 3:18 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.
