Some believe that email or text message is the best way for discussion; others believe that telephone or voice recording is better. Wich option do you prefer? Explain the reasons specifically in your essay.
For the past a few decades, it has been generally argued whether email or text message is the better way for discussion compared to telephone or voice recording. Some believe that emailbor text message is better; others believe that telephone or voice recording is better. However, I think both ways have their reasonable eliments that makes each of them useful in thier way. Actually, I have a couple of reasons to support my idea which I will explain in the following passages.
To begin with, email and text messages are more accurate. When compared with voice recording or telephone, words have more chances to adjust the words apropriately and correctly. This way it can be more formal and direct. Some people might cast doubt on my opinion because they think that voice is more appealing than just words. Nevertheless, it is not hard to figure out that so many important things such as contracts are written in important documents. To give ine if my personal experience as an example, when I was in high schooo, I often burrowed money to my friends. One day, a close friend asked me that he needed some money urgently and that he would give it back soon. As the promised day came by, I asked my friend when he would give my money back. But what he said was totally different. He was confsed.and told me that he had already paid back. This happening resulted a quarrel and we agreed to never see each other again. If I had wrote down specifically about the amount and time of his lending money from me, things might have been different from now.
On the other hand, telephone or voice recording can be more effective in a more informal situations. If your in an urgent situation, such as an car accident, it would not be neccessary for us to explain it with our messages or email. Indeed, it is a general thing to pick up our phones and call 911 for help. From my personal experience as an example, Cho was delevering pizza for his customer and was also in a hurry since he was a little bit late. Unfortunately, a car turning right did not notice him. So thr car ran over Cho and he was injured badly. As I walked by, I spotted someone lying on the ground and as soon as I spotted him, called ambulance assistant. Later, the doctor said that if assistance was any slower, he would not have been able to survive the accident. If I had messaged 911 and wrote down specifically what was happening, Cho might not have been able to breathe again.
As a conclusion, using either words or voice really depends on what kind of situation we are in. If it is a more formal situatuion, using text and mail is a better option while in a more imformal situation, telephone or voice recording
is more appropriate.
