This latest version of the popular Chili binding uses rigid metal "rods" rather than cables to connect the toe-piece and heel units. Specially developed for plastic boots with an 18 mm sole profile, the Chili has a reinforced heat-treated steel toe bar. The springs and heel bail are connected to the toe piece with rigid steel rods, thereby increasing the torsional stability. A quick-latch heel throw offers easy access. The Chili comes supplied with a 12 mm riser plate in translucent Xylex.

The Chili Rod Binding comes in 2 sizes: Short (36-44) and Long (40-48)

Rottefella's Cobra R4 has a flexible steel cable and cable guides positioned 20 mm forward of those of the R8 and R6 bindings giving the Cobra R4 a softer more neutral forward flex, ideal for touring. Thanks to the 4 front cable-adjustment notches and the micro-adjustable spring cartridges, one binding fits boots from 35-49.

The Cobra R4 come with compression springs, Xylex anti-ice plates, climbing bars and 20 mm riser plates. The new Xylex anti-ice plates reduces the risk of snow accumulation underfoot, and both the anti-ice plate and the alu toe piece are slightly wedge shaped to reduce rocker launch.

An excellent touring binding that also works well on the piste.

Ski Crampons!! Rottefella have added a metal clip that fits behind the riser plate and can accept Dynafit crampons.

The R6 is designed for skiers wanting quick edge-to-edge control. The new Delrin 20 mm riser plates offer the widest underfoot contact for maximum control. The combined height of the riser plate +binding+anti-ice plate puts the boots 30 mm above the top of the ski.The R6 features compression springs with 35 mm travel, rigid chromed steel connecting rods and a heat-treated aluminium toe-piece with 2 mm steel front bail. The R8 is now supplied with a dual height climbing bar. Only one climbing bar but with a plastic part integrated to the bar which can be be clipped to make the climbing bar higher.
