Quite a few Christians do not have
resurrection power in their lives. In other words, they are living life as if
Jesus is non living (extinct). They do not have Jesus living in their heart during
the week, and exclude Jesus in everyday life. Many of them may attend church
regularly on Sunday, and are often known as “Sunday Christians”.
But Jesus is not dead. He is not Non
Living! In Luke 24: 5-6 the angel of the Lord spoke to the women in the tomb
and said, “Why do you look for the living among the dead? He is not here; he
has risen!” As a Christian, you have new life in Jesus Christ. You have been
called out of the darkness and into his glorious light. There is no need to
live as if Jesus is extinct. You have the power of Jesus Christ living and
working in you. You have resurrection power!
OUR VICTORY IS JESUS CHRIST! He
is why we are victorious over sin. His power lives in us. Jesus is alive
and living! Jesus Is Stronger than anyone and anything! He paid
it all on the cross and set us free by rising again! Sin is broken! Jesus has
saved us! Jesus is Lord of All!
Ephesians 3:20 says, “With God’s power
working in us, he can do much, much more than anything we can ask or think of.”
We are not chained to our sin! We are raised to life just as Christ was raised
to life. It’s time to stop living as if Christ is non living. Let’s remember
the real meaning of Easter and celebrate the empty tomb. Jesus is not in the
land of the dead, but He’s in the land of the living.
Matthew
28:6
He
is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay
