It was very hard on Welton's first day. The teachers gave him a lot of homework and tests. Teachers penalized students for their homework. Meanwhile, the students met a new English teacher named John Kitting. John Kitting is a very ideal teacher. He is a teacher who emphasizes student autonomy, sincerely teaches children, creates a good learning environment, and advises them. His class is very special and meaningful. The students thought it was John Kitting strange. This is because he is a different teacher from other teachers, but as time goes by, the students have learned that he is a very moving teacher and a teacher who teaches students with sincere heart.
John Kitting is a very ideal teacher. Many of the teachers in this book are very passionate and think of knowledge transfer first as information. But John Kitting treats students as human rather than students. He is the one who really teaches the student. So, as I read these chapters 4-5, John Kitting was most impressed.
첫댓글 I think you identify with Mr. Keating and his teaching a lot! Remember to follow the characters closely. "Welton" is the school, not a character. Who did we follow in these chapters?
