Year 4 Entry Point - Different Places, Similar Lives  다양한 장소, 비슷한 삶

For Year 4’s new Entry Point, we introduced the exciting IPC topic – Different Places, Similar Lives. This unit explores the many environments people live in around the world and highlights the similarities that connect us all.

To celebrate, Year 4 students came to school dressed in traditional clothing representing their national or heritage cultures. Some brought along meaningful trinkets, items or snacks to share, while others created informative Google Slides presentations. Each child spoke proudly about their culture, teaching us something new and special.

We heard about a wonderful range of cultures from all over the world, a true celebration of the rich diversity we have here at SCIPS. What a fabulous day!

4학년의 새로운 진입점을 위해 흥미로운 IPC 주제인 '다양한 장소, 비슷한 삶'을 소개했습니다. 이 단원에서는 전 세계 사람들이 살고 있는 다양한 환경을 탐구하고 우리 모두를 연결하는 유사점을 강조합니다.
4학년 학생들은 자국의 국가 또는 유산 문화를 대표하는 전통 의상을 입고 학교에 왔습니다. 어떤 학생들은 의미 있는 장신구, 물품 또는 간식을 가져와 공유했고, 다른 학생들은 유익한 Google 슬라이드 프레젠테이션을 만들었습니다. 각 어린이는 자신의 문화에 대해 자랑스럽게 이야기하며 새롭고 특별한 것을 가르쳐 주었습니다.
우리는 전 세계에서 온 멋진 문화들에 대해 들었습니다. 이곳 SCIPS에서 우리가 가진 풍부한 다양성을 진정으로 기념하는 행사입니다. 정말 멋진 날이네요!
