Bible Reading - Acts 27:23-33

27:23. "Last night an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I serve stood beside me ”

지난 밤 내가 속해 있고 내가 섬기는 하나님의 천사가 내 곁에 섰습니다.

27:24. "and said, ‘Do not be afraid, Paul. You must stand trial before Caesar; and God has graciously given you the lives of all who sail with you.’ ”
그리고 말했습니다, "두려워 말라. 바울, 너는 가이사 앞에서 재판 받아야 하며, 그리고 하나님께서 은혜스럽게 너와 함께 하는 모든 사람들의 생명을너에게 주셨다.

27:25 So keep up(계속하다) your courage, men, 그러니 용기를 잃지 마십시오, 여러분.

for I have faith in God that it will happen just as he told me.

나는 하나님께서 내게 말씀하신 그대로 이루어질 것을 믿습니다.

27:26 Nevertheless(그럼에도 불구하고), we must run aground on some island."

그럼에도 불구하고, 우리는 어떤 섬에 좌초하게 될 것입니다.

27:27 On the fourteenth night we were still being driven across the Adriatic Sea, when about midnight the sailors sensed they were approaching land.

열나흗날 밤, 우리는 여전히 아드리아해를 가로질러 떠밀려가고 있었는데, 자정 무렵 선원들은 육지에 가까워지고 있음을 감지했다.

27:28 They took soundings and found that the water was a hundred and twenty feet deep. 

그들은 수심을 측정해 보았고, 물의 깊이가 120피트라는 것을 알아냈다.

A short time later they took soundings again and found it was ninety feet deep.

얼마 지나지 않아 그들은 다시 수심을 측정했고, 깊이가 90피트라는 것을 확인했다.

27:29 Fearing that we would be dashed against the rocks, 

바위에 부딪혀 부서질까 두려워서,

they dropped four anchors(닻) from the stern(선미) and prayed for daylight.

그들은 선미에서 닻 네 개를 내리고 날이 밝기를 기도했다.

27:30 In an attempt to escape from the ship, 배에서 탈출하려고 시도하는 중에,

the sailors let the lifeboat down into the sea, pretending they were going to lower some anchors from the bow.

선원들은 마치 선수 쪽에서 닻을 내리려는 것처럼 꾸미며 구명정을 바다로 내려보냈다.

27:31 Then Paul said to the centurion and the soldiers, 그때 바울이 백부장과 병사들에게 말했다.

"Unless these men stay with the ship, you cannot be saved."

"이 사람들이 배와 함께 머물지 않는다면, 당신들은 구조될 수 없습니다."

27:32 So the soldiers cut the ropes that held the lifeboat and let it fall away.

그래서 병사들은 구명정을 잡고 있던 밧줄을 잘라 버려 그 구명정들이 떨어져 나가게 두었다. 

27:33 Just before dawn Paul urged them all to eat. 

막 해가 떠오르기 전에 바울은 그들 모두가 음식을 먹도록 요청했다.

"For the last fourteen days," he said, 그가 말했다. " 14일 동안, 

 "you have been in constant suspense and have gone without food--you haven't eaten anything.

당신은 줄곧 긴장 상태에 있었고, 아무것도 먹지 못했습니다."
