Today, our beloved granddaughter Hayeon celebrates her 100th day since birth.

In Korea, a baby’s 100th day is traditionally celebrated as a meaningful milestone. It is a special occasion for the family to give thanks for the baby’s healthy growth and to pray for a long, healthy, and happy life.

It feels like only yesterday that Hayeon came into our lives, so tiny and delicate. Now, she has grown beautifully and fills our entire family with joy through her bright smile.

Over the past few days, she has begun laughing aloud in the most amazing and delightful way. When we look into her eyes and speak to her, she responds with such a clear, joyful laugh that we cannot help but marvel at her. Hearing her laughter fills my heart with wonder and deep gratitude for the precious gift of her life.

A baby’s laughter can brighten an entire home and bring warmth and happiness to everyone who hears it. Seeing Hayeon dressed in her beautiful traditional Korean hanbok and smiling so sweetly, I feel that she is more precious than any treasure in the world.
