Bible Reading - Acts 28:21~31

28:21 They replied, "We have not received any letters from Judea concerning you, 

그들이 대답했다. "우리는 어떤 서신도 당신에 대해 유대로부터 받은 적이 없습니다.  

and none of the brothers who have come from there has reported or said anything bad about you.

그리고 거기서 온 형제들 중에 어떤 사람도 당신에 대해 어떤 나쁜 것도 보고하거나 말하지 않았습니다. 

28:22 But we want to hear what your views are, 그러나 우리는 당신의 견해가 무엇인지 듣고 싶습니다.

for we know that people everywhere are talking against this sect."

왜냐하면 사람들이 모든 곳에서 이 유파에 대항하여 말하고 있다는 것을 알고 있기 때문입니다.

28:23 They arranged to meet Paul on a certain day, 그들은 특정 날짜에 바울을 만나기로 약속했고

and came in even larger numbers to the place where he was staying.

그리고 그가 머물고 있는 곳으로 훨씬 더 많은 사람들이 찾아왔다.

From morning till evening he explained and declared to them the kingdom of God and tried to convince them about Jesus from the Law of Moses and from the Prophets.

그는 아침부터 저녁까지 그들에게 하나님의 나라를 설명하고 선포하였으며, 모세의 율법과 예언서들을 통해 그들에게 예수에 관하여 확신시키려고 시도했다.

28:24 Some were convinced by what he said, but others would not believe.

어떤 이들은 그가 한 말에 설득되었지만, 다른 이들은 믿으려 하지 않았다.

28:25 They disagreed among themselves and began to leave after Paul had made this final statement:

바울이 이 마지막 발언을 하자 그들은 서로 의견이 갈라졌고, 자리를 떠나기 시작했다.

"The Holy Spirit spoke the truth to your forefathers when he said through Isaiah the prophet:

성령께서 이사야와 선지서들을 통해 말씀하셨을 때에 그는 너희의 선조들에게 진리를 말씀하셨다.

28:26 "'Go to this people and say, "You will be ever hearing but never understanding; 

이 사람들에게 가서 "너희가 들을 것이나 이해하지 못할 것이며

you will be ever seeing but never perceiving." 너희가 볼 것이나 깨닫지 못할 것이다."라고 말하여라.

28:27 For this people's heart has become calloused(굳은 살이 박혀진); 이 백성의 마음은 무뎌졌기 때문에 

they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes.

그들은 귀로 거의 듣지 못할 것이며 그들의 눈이 보지 못할(닫힐) 것이다. 

Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.'

그렇지 않으면 그들이 눈으로 보고 귀로 들으며 마음으로 깨달아 돌이킬지도 모르고, 그러면 내가 그들을 고쳐 줄지도 모른다.

28:28 "Therefore I want you to know that God's salvation has been sent to the Gentiles, and they will listen!"

그러므로 여러분은 하나님의 구원이 이방인들에게 보내졌다는 것을 알아야 하며, 그들은 그 구원의 소식을 들을 것이다!

28:29 

28:30 For two whole years Paul stayed there in his own rented house and welcomed all who came to see him.

바울은 만 2년 동안 그곳에서 자신이 세 낸 집에 머물며, 자신을 찾아오는 모든 사람을 맞이했다.

28:31 Boldly and without hindrance he preached the kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ.

담대히 그리고 방해 없이 그는 하나님의 나라를 선포했고 주 예수 그리스도에 대해 가르쳤다.
