God's Word is true.

The Bible contains wisdom.

If you obey God's Word, God will bless.

If you disobey God's Word, God will punish.

(God will bless)

Let's pray!

Heavenly Father, I thank you for the Bible. The Bible contains wisdom.

 Let me read the Word of God. I will follow Your Words.

Bible Story

All Together: God's word has nothing false in it.

G 3: It is true. The Bible is the book which has God's word.

G 4: It contains all kinds of wisdom with which we can live.

All: God's word is the law for people.

G 5: If they disobey it, God punishes them. In ancient times, if people disobeyed God's word, they were sometimes stoned.

G 6: Sin is disobeying God's word. If we sin and do not repent, we go to hell. Therefore, we must not sin.

All together: If we sin, we have to repent of our sins.

Questions? 

1. Is the Word of God true or false?

(It is true)

2. If people disobey God's word, what does God do?

(God punishes them)

3. What is sin?

(Sin is disobeying God's word)

4. If we sin, what do we have to do?

(We have to repent of our sins)

Lessons!

What is your favoriate food?

Would you like to eat pizza, hamburger, and coke? Yes! I love them too. You may eat them.

But you should not eat them very often! They are junk food. If you eat a lot, you will be really fat and ugly.

Most Americans and Canadians are really fat. Even kids are obese.

That's a social problem nowadays. They try to reduce fat and deep fried food.

What games are you playing?

What game do you love? Who are you playing Maple Story(메이플 스토리), World of Warcraft(월드 오브 워크래프트),

 Aion(아이온), and Dungeon and Fighter(던전 앤 파이터)?

If you play a lot, you look like one of game monsters. Your temper changes.

Your attitude becomes tough and rude. You are quite aggressive.

You are becoming selfish. You are not sociable.

You like to stay alone without parents. When parents are away or on a trip, you smile and are happy.

You don't sleep. You are very tired. It means that you are ruined by games.

But you do not admit your addiction. Why? You are quite addicted to games.

Some of you sing too much. Some of you watch TV too much. You'd better be careful not to be addicted.

What books are you reading?

Who read the book, three divided kingdoms of china(삼국지)? Wow! Many of you read it.

 If you read good books, you will be wise and smart.

Who of you read Harry Potter? Wow! Some of you read it. If you read this kind of book, you can be possessed by evil spirits. Actually, many American and British kids cast a spell after reading or watching a movie.

The book or the movie of Harry Potter influences a lot of kids. Harry Potter confuses good with bad.

Using magic and casting a spell for fun is pretty O. K.

You learn by reading books or watching movies. You need to be careful. You have to read the Bible.

The word of God gives you clear lessons about so many things.

If you read the Bible, you will be smart. You will be a nice person. Maybe, now you think that knowing more is important.

Having knowledge is important. However, you have to know that having wisdom is the most important.

God's word is true! Thus, God said to Jeremiah to eat the Word of God!

God told Joshua to meditate the law of Moses day and night!

God gave the Bible to you as well to read and be wise!!!

Our Resolution

We must listen to God's word and obey it.

Prayer

God! I will eat Your Words more than food. I will enjoy Your Words more than computer games.

 I will read Your Words more than other books! Your Words are true.

They will teach me and change me! I pray in Jesus' name, Amen.
