28) 3/28 Happy Travel - Obidos - Queen's Directly Governed City

 Departed from Sintra's Pena Palace (3,945 km) at 12 o'clock and visited the medieval town of Obidos, with a population of about 1,000, surrounded by walls, located approximately 100 km away. Arrived in Obidos at 1:30 PM (4,046 km).
   It is a picturesque city so beautiful that it is called the 'Pearl of the Valley.' From the Roman era, fortresses were built to ward off invaders crossing the sea. In 1282, Queen Isabel, who visited here, was completely captivated by its beauty, and King Denis gifted her this city, making it directly administered by the queen.
  From a distance, the city's castle looked beautiful. Inside the castle, the medieval city remains intact. Many  tourists are wandering through the narrow alleys. There are quite a number of Japanese tourists, enjoying a high-quality sightseeing experience.

  Have a simple lunch at Dezembro, a restaurant favored by locals, and enjoy a glass of Ginja in Óbidos. Walk around the town, visiting Santa Maria Square and the Igreja de Santa Maria. Say a prayer. In the square, when Queen Leonor's beloved prince drowned in the Tagus River in 1491, a fisherman rescued him with a net, and it is said that the fisherman's net was carved into the 'Pillorinho' column in the square to soothe the grief.

8) 3월 28일(수) 행복 순례-Obidos- 여왕의 직할시

Sintra의 Pena 궁전(3,945Km)을  12시에 출발, 이곳에서 100여 Km 떨어진 성벽으로 둘러싸인 인구 1천여명의 중세 도시 Obidos를 찾았다. 오비도스에는 오후 1시 30분에 도착했다.(4,046Km)

'계곡의 진주"라고 불릴 정도로 그림같이 아름다운 도시다. 로마 시대부터 바다를 건너 침입하는 적을 막기 위해 요새를 세웠다.1282년 아곳을 방문한 이사벨 왕비가 완전히 아름다움에 매료되어 다니스왕이 이 도시를 그녀에게 선사하였다.그레서 여왕의 직할시가 되었다.

멀리서 바라 본 이 도시는 성이 아름다웠다. 성안은 중세 도시 그대로다. 많은 관광객이 좁은 d골목을 누비고 있다. 일본인 관광객은 제법 많다. 이들은 고품격의 관광을 즐기고 있다.

 현지인들이 즐겨 찾는 디젬브루(Dezembro)식당에서 간단히 점심을 들고 오비두스의 술 진자(Ginja)를 한 잔 들다. 성내를 둘러 보며 산타 마리아 광장과 Igrajaja de Santa maria를 들어 갔다. 기도하였다.광장에는 1491년 레오노르 왕비가 사랑하는 왕자가 태주 강에서 익사하자 어부가 그물로  왕자를 건저내자 광장에 '펠로리뉴'기둥에 어부의 그물을 조각하고 슬픔을 달랬다고한다.

                                         Into the medieval times, wine is displayed in narrow alleys, enticing travelers.

                                                      중세 속으로, 좁은 골목에 포도주를 전시하며 나그네를 유혹한다.

                          The column behind Santa Maria Square, Pelourinho, carries the queen's sorrows and hardships.

At a cafe popular with locals, I had two glasses of Óbidos' liquor 'Ginja.'They say the best Ginja here is made from cherries grown locally. It is like a wine with 18-20% alcohol.

현지인에 인기있는 Cafe에서 오비도스의 술 '진자(Ginja) 두잔을 마시다. 진자는 이곳에서 나는 벗찌로 만든 것이 제일 좋다고 한다.18-20도의 와인같음
