캄보디아-라오스 외무장관 : 국경표식 설치작업 논의

Cambodia-Laos Border Marker Planting Discussed

Cambodian and Lao Foreign Ministry’s senior officials yesterday held talks on border marker planting along the border of the two countries, especially at Preah Vihear-Champasak and Stung Treng-Champasak.

The Cambodian side was led by Cambodian Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation H.E. Long Visalo, while the Lao side by Foreign Vice Minister H.E. Bounkeut Sangsomsak.

The meeting also touched on the construction project of Cambodia-Laos Memorial Border Marker at Trapaing Krill international border gate.

Both Cambodian and Lao governments have agreed to transform the common border to be a border of peace, friendship, cooperation and development for the mutual benefits.

Cambodia and Laos share over 540 kilometers of border line.
