🛳️USS 제럴드 R 포드(CVN-78)는 미국 해군의 항공모함이자 동급 함선의 선도함이다. 이 함선은 제2차 세계대전 당시 태평양 전선에서 경항공모함 몬터레이호에 승선하여 전투 임무를 수행했던 미국의 제38대 대통령 제럴드 포드의 이름을 따서 명명되었다. 건조는 2005년 8월 11일 노스럽 그루먼사가 항공모함 측면 외피의 일부를 구성하는 15톤짜리 강판 절단식을 거행하면서 시작되었다. 제럴드 R 포드함은 2009년 11월 13일에 기공되었고, 2013년 11월 9일에 명명식을 거행했다. 이 항공모함은 2012년 12월 51년간의 현역 복무를 마친 USS 엔터프라이즈(CVN-65)함을 대체하여 해군에 취역했다. 당초 2015년 인도 예정이었던 제럴드 R 포드함은 2017년 5월 31일에 해군에 인도되었고, 2017년 7월 22일 도널드 트럼프 대통령에 의해 공식적으로 취역했다. 2023년 5월 2일 첫 번째 실전 배치 임무를 위해 노퍽 해군기지를 출항했다. 2026년 2월 기준으로, 제럴드 R 포드함은 세계 최대의 항공모함이자 역사상 가장 큰 군함이다.
