Title: I Am Doing Nothing – Ki-Mu Training and Shin-Chim

1. The Start and Basic Concepts of Ki-Mu Training:
○ Starting from Non-Action (Mu-wi)
☆ Experiencing Movement on Its Own: Real Ki-Mu training only truly begins when you experience your body moving on its own by the "natural energy" (Ki), not by your own intention.
☆ Three Fundamental Principles:
* My body is not mine: The body doesn't belong to my willpower; it is simply a pathway for energy.
* Energy is not mine either: Ki is not something I create or control; it is the natural flow of the universe.
* Natural energy has its own living awareness: Ki is not just simple energy—it has its own life force and consciousness.
2. Growth in Ki-Mu Training and the Opening of Healing Abilities
Building on the basics of Ki-Mu training, you can properly begin healing practice.
○ Experiential Realization (Self-acquirement):
Instead of relying on theories or concepts, you build energy principles directly into your body through real physical and conscious experience.
○ Magnetization (Self-magnetization):
You tune your body into a state where it naturally responds to the universe's energy.
○ Completing the Tools of Healing:
* Eye-Fingers:
A state where you can feel and perceive energy right through your fingertips.
* Beam-Fingers:
A state where energy focuses like a beam through your fingertips to open up blocked points in the body.
3. Shin-Chim and the Subtle Logic of Chaos Theory
○ Breaking Free from the 3D Mindset (X, Y, Z):
Shin-Chim is completely different from techniques that rely on fixed spatial coordinates or rigid physical structures.
This is why, in Jinyoung Ssangkum Ryu training, we call this "Vipassana-Acupuncture."
○ No Fixed Needle Points for Symptoms:
It isn't tied to a manual or fixed needle positions. It simply responds to the energy and condition of that exact moment.
Because of this, the practitioner's mindset is everything. Before starting, it is essential to reset your mind to zero—to find your mind's true center.
○ The Double Pendulum and Energy Flow:
In physics, a double pendulum follows the same exact laws, yet a tiny difference of just 0.1° at the start creates a completely different path over time.
Similarly, even if you place a needle in the exact same spot, Shin-Chim interacts with the subtle energy, breath, and body conditions of that specific moment.
As a result, the flow of energy unfolds in fresh and unpredictable ways every single time.
Even if a physicist completely understands the formulas and equations behind a double pendulum, they still cannot control where it will go in the future.
In the same way, even if someone completely grasps the principles of acupuncture and energy channels, energy doesn't flow according to the practitioner's ego or intention.
If you try to force it with your own intention:
The Gap = (Natural Order) - (My Thoughts, Words, and Actions)
The wider this gap gets, the harder, more difficult, and more painful things become. You often have to experience this firsthand to truly realize it.
In the end, you repeatedly come to realize: "I cannot know, and I am not the one doing this."
○ Deterministic Chaos: This is not random disorder without rules. It is the expression of a living force moving infinitely within the absolute, unchanging laws of nature (such as the conservation of energy).
4. Conclusion: "I Am Doing Nothing"
Even if a physicist knows the exact math, they cannot force a double pendulum's future path. The core lesson of chaos theory is that "laws exist, but humans cannot predict, manipulate, or control the outcome." Shin-Chim works on the exact same principle.
In the world of Shin-Chim and Ki-Mu, you cannot handle energy through personal intention or ego ("I am going to heal this").
Ultimately, the heart of Ki-Mu training and Shin-Chim is letting go of yourself.
The true subject of healing and movement is not "me," but "the living energy of nature."
The practitioner is merely a clear channel and a bridge that opens up the path so energy can flow freely on its own.
Your only role is to set up the "best initial conditions" (the right spot and the right mindset).
How that energy spreads out and creates harmony after that is entirely up to the natural systems of the body and nature itself.
When this happens, the thought "I am inserting needles to heal someone" disappears. Naturally, you arrive at a state of pure Mu-Wi(무위, Non-Action): "Natural energy flows on its own, and I am simply its channel and observer."
Jinyoung Ssangkum Ryu Training: Technique, philosophy, and healing arts are all meant to guide human life toward its ultimate purpose through martial arts practice, and the absolute priority above all else is the transformation of human consciousness.
To sum it up:
The "ever-changing flow of energy" you experience while applying Shin-Chim is the subtle life force of complex systems (Chaos)—it is the way things are, the law, and the truth.
The realization that "I am doing nothing" means understanding that the true driver of the system is not the practitioner's intention, but the natural laws of the body and nature itself.
The energy of Shin-Chim flows along complex and unpredictable paths (Chaos), but its true essence always works to bring the entire body back to its most stable and balanced state through the laws of nature.
