요한계시록2:8-17 발람과 니골라당(서머나-버가모 교회)

계2:8

이 시대 교회는 물질적 풍요와 자유 속에서 더 심각한 영적 전쟁에 노출되어 있습니다. 참 교회는 외적인 성공 보다 내면의 거룩함을 추구해야 하며 진리에 충실해야 합니다. 우리 각자는 시대적 도전 앞에서 "나는 지금 어디에 서 있는가?" 를 묻고 신앙의 자리를 점검해야 합니다. 공주야! 아빠는 작금의 기독교가 썩었다고 보고, 간증이나 기독교 방송 자체를 일체 보지 않는데 그나마 C. S 루이스라는 인문 학자를 좋아한다.

In the midst of material affluence and freedom, churches of this era are exposed to more serious spiritual warfare. Cham churches should seek inner holiness rather than outer success and remain true to the truth. Each of us should ask, "Where do I stand now?" and check our place of faith in the face of the challenges of the times. Princess! My dad thinks Christianity is rotten and likes C. S. Lewis, a humanities scholar, even though he doesn't watch any testimony or Christian broadcasting.

“내가 알기로 우리가 아슬란의 나라(천국)에 들어갈 수 있는 유일한 방법은 죽음을 통과하는 것입니다. 하지만 아주 선한 사람들은 그 전에 살짝 맛볼 수도 있을 것입니다(C. S루이스, 루이스가 나니아의 아이들에게, 홍성사). “  주님은 서머나 교회 성도들에게 현재의 환란과 궁핍을 넘어 또다시 엄습할 고난에 대해 두려워하지 말고 끝까지 충성하라고 하신다. 견디기 힘든 고통이지만 고난의 시간에도 끝이 있을 것이다(10일 동안).

"As far as I know, the only way we can enter the kingdom of Aslan is through death. But the very good men might get a sneak peek before that (C. S. Lewis, Louis to the children of Narnia, Hong Seong-sa)." The Lord asks the members of Summerna's church to remain loyal to the end, not afraid of the hardships that will strike again beyond the current turmoil and poverty. It is an unbearable pain, but there will be an end to the hardship (10 days).

신뢰하는 자에게 참아낼 힘을 주실 것이며, 죽음에 이르더라도 영원한 생명 만은 빼앗기지 않을 것이라고 약속하신다. 당시에 이 말씀이 얼마나 힘이 되었겠니? 주님을 위해 받는 고난은 반드시 끝이 있으며. 그 끝에는 영원한 생명과 안식이 있다. 물질적으로 부요 했지만 영적으로 가난했던 라오디게아 교회(3:17)와 달리, 서머나 교회는 물질적으로 가난했지만 영적으로는 부요한 교회였다. 주님은 황제 숭배 거부와 유대인들의 훼방으로 인해 혹독한 환난과 궁핍을 겪으면서도 충절을 지킨 그들을 부요한 자라고 인정해주신다.

He promises that he will give those who trust him the power to endure, and that even if he dies, only eternal life will not be taken away. How powerful would these words have been at the time? There must be an end to the suffering for the Lord. At the end of it is eternal life and rest. Unlike Laodigaea Church (3:17), which was materially rich but spiritually poor, Summerna Church was materially poor but spiritually rich. The Lord recognizes them as wealthy people who have been loyal even though they suffered severe hardship and poverty due to the refusal to worship the emperor and the destruction of the Jews.

주님이 알아주시는 것 외에는 다른 소망을 두지 않고 죽도록 충성하였다. 버가모에서 고난이나 죽음은 위협이 아니라 실제였다. 사단의 가장 큰 권세를 휘두르며 성도를 유린하고 있었다. 안디바가 황제 숭배를 거부 하면서 까지 하나님의 충성 된 증인 예수처럼(1:15), 그리스도만을 주로 증거 하다 순교를 당했지만, 버가모 성도들은 주님을 믿는 믿음을 저버리지 않았다. 주님은 버가모 교회를 죽음에 몰아넣을 수 있는 로마 재판 석의 칼의 힘을 능가하는 최종 적인 심판의 권능을 갖고 계신다.

He was loyal to death with no other hope than what the Lord knew. In Bergamo, hardship or death was not a threat, but real. He was violating the Saints by wielding the greatest power of the division. Like Jesus, a loyal witness of God (1:15) until Andiba refused to worship the emperor, he was martyred for mainly proving only Christ, but the Bergamo saints did not abandon their faith in the Lord. The Lord has the power of the ultimate judge that exceeds the power of the sword of the Roman trial that can put Bergamo Church to death.

그러니 그들이 두려워해야 할 대상은 칼의 위협으로 황제 숭배를 강요하는 로마 총독이 아니라 그들마저 심판하실 수 있는 예수님이다. 그러나 안타깝게도 주의 이름을 굳게 잡았던 이들이 발람과 니골라당의 교훈을 지키는 자가 되어버렸다. 충성의 대상을 그리스도에서 로마황제로 바꾸라는 직접적인 요인에는 단호히 맞섰지만 문화적 적응과 사회적 책임을 거론하며 간접적으로 타협을 요구하는 가르침은 수용한 것이다. 신앙생활이 힘든 것은 죽을 때까지 계속해야 하는 것이다.

Therefore, the object they should fear is not the Roman governor who forces the emperor to worship with the threat of a sword, but Jesus, who even they can judge. Unfortunately, those who firmly held the Lord's name became those who followed the lessons of Balam and the Nigola Party. He was adamant about the direct factor of changing the object of loyalty from Christ to the Roman emperor, but he accepted teachings that indirectly demanded compromise, citing cultural adaptation and social responsibility. Living in faith is difficult, and you must continue until you die.

그러니 신앙은 너무 덤비지도 말고 매너리즘에 빠지지 않는 선에서 즐겨야 할 것이다. 적당히 대충대충 하라는 뜻이 아니라 생물처럼 관계를 맺으라는 말이야. 공주야! 신앙은 주님과 사는 것이다. 싫은 사람하고 억지로 사는 것은 물어볼 것도 없이 힘든 일이란다. 아빠가 너희들을 사랑 하니까 죽기 전까진 너희를 기억하며 사는 것이 아니겠니? 우리가 분별하여 싸워야 할 대적은 반대 복음만이 아니라 우리의 영혼을 무디게 하고 마비 시키는 반쪽 짜리 복음이나 유사 복음 이라는 것을 기억해야 한다. 지금 우리가 처한 상황 속에서 어떤 영적 싸움을 하고 있는가? 

So faith should be enjoyed without falling into mannerism, not being too much of a dump. It doesn't mean to roughly deal with it in moderation, but to build a relationship like a creature. Princess! Faith is to live with the Lord. It goes without asking to live with someone you don't like. Since he loves you, isn't he supposed to live remembering you until he dies? We have to remember that the enemies we have to fight discerningly are not just the opposite gospel, but the half gospel or similar gospel that dulls and paralyzes our souls. What kind of spiritual fight are we having in our current situation?

지키는 자들이 있도다(15c)

주님 감사합니다. 내 잘못으로 상황이 어려워졌지만 더 부요 하게 하시기 위한 일이라고 말씀해 주시니 감사합니다. 내 궁핍 뿐 아니라 악의 소굴에서 빠져나오지 않은 것까지 다 아시는 주님, 버가모 교회의 책망을 두렵게 살피면서 발람의 거짓 교훈에 미혹되어 니골라당의 패역을 만들지 않도록 늘 말씀의 검으로 내 자신과 싸우겠습니다. 안디바처럼 믿음을 저버리지 않도록 도와주세요. 움켜쥐지 못해 죽고 싶을 때, 승리하신 주님을 의지 하므로 내 앞에 있는 유혹을 이기게 하옵소서.

Thank you Lord. Things have become difficult because of my fault, but thank you for telling me that it is to make me richer. I will fight myself with the sword of the word so that I will not be deceived by Balam's false lessons, but will not be deceived by the false lessons of the Bergamo Church, knowing that I have not escaped from my den of evil. Please help me not to betray my faith like Andiba. When you want to die because you can't hold it, you will rely on the victorious Lord, so that you can overcome the temptation before me.
