Latest DOSBox-X packages are available from its homepage (http://dosbox-x.com). Korean text can be displayed with either of the following two ways:
1. Korean DOS/V mode: Just set "dosv=ko" in dosbox-x.conf
2. Korean TTF mode: Set "country=82,949" and "output=ttf" in dosbox-x.conf along with a Korean TTF font (such as batang.ttc included with Windows or another TTF font such as https://github.com/joncampbell123/dosbox-x/blob/master/contrib/fonts/SarasaGothicFixed.ttf) loaded with e.g. "font=batang.ttc".
Use the second method for general DOS/Win3.x/9x emulation environment.
There are now already language files for Chinese and Japanese etc, available from: https://github.com/joncampbell123/dosbox-x/blob/master/contrib/translations/
Since I am not a native Korean speaker, I am using a partially translated Korean language file with only welcome messages and drop-down menu translated with Google in the attachment (ko_KO.lng) for demostration purpose (load it with "language=ko_KO.lng“ in dosbox-x.conf). Any help to translate the rest messages and test the Korean emulation is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
