 안녕하세요 한양대학교 국제협력실 신용진계장(입니다. 귀 한인 사이트의 발전과 회원 여러분들의 가정의 화목을 기원하며 이렇게 저희 한양대학교 국제여름학교(Hanyang University International Summer School)를 귀 사이트에 홍보하고자 합니다. 아래 내용은 저희 한양대학교 국제여름학교에 관한 간단한 소개 글이니 참고 하시길 바랍니다. 끝으로 세계 경기 불황으로 인해 참가 희망 학생들의 부담을 덜어주고자 Hanyang University International Summer School은 프로그램 비용을 작년보다 인하하였으며 다양한 장학금제도가 있으니 관련내용이 귀 한인사이트 회원 여러분들께 잘 안내 되었으면 하는 바램입니다. 감사합니다.

Ø 가족같은분위기–Buddy 프로그램

  한양대학교만의 Buddy 프로그램을 통해 다양한 국적의 친구들을 사귈 수 있는 장을 마련해드립니다. 가족처럼 느낄 수 있도록 한국인 친구들을 짝지어줌으로써 한국에서의 생활을 보다 즐겁고 편안하게 해줄 뿐만 아니라 한국에 대해 더 깊게 알아가실 수 있게 해주고 있습니다.

Ø 한양대만의 학생들이 만들어가는 국제여름학교–Personally Designed Courses

한양대학교에서는 학생들이 원하는 과목을 선택하여 수강할 수 있습니다. 학생들은 자신에게 맞는 시간에 공부할 수 있고 여유시간에는 한국을 더욱 깊게 이해할 수 있는 기회를 가질 수 있습니다. 수강 과목은 한국학, 한국어 외 경영학, 자연과학, 국제관계학, 체육, 인문과학, 공학, 미술 등 다양한 분야의 강의가 개설되어 있으며, 이는 해외유명대학교 교수님들을 초청하여 진행되므로 학생들이 질 높은 수업을 들을 수 있을 것입니다. 또한 현재 개설되지 않은 과목이라 하더라도, 5명 이상 학생들이 신청하였을 경우 새로이 개설하여 학생들이 원하는 과목을 들을 수 있도록 배려하고 있습니다.

Ø 중국시안교통-리버풀 대학교 방문

한양 여름학교는 한국에서 끝나는 것이 아닙니다! 학생의 선택에 따라 본교 프로그램을 마치고 중국의 상하이 인근의 소주(Suzhou)에 위치한 시안 교통-리버풀 대학교(Xi’an Jiatong-Liverpool University)를 1주일간 방문하여 중국어, 태극권 등 현지 수업을 듣는 연수프로그램에 참여할 기회를 제공하고 있습니다. 이에 더하여 가까운 상하이 방문 계획으로 상하이 박람회에 참가하며 현지 문화체험을 할 수 있습니다. 한국뿐만 아니라 중국을 방문하면서 학생들은 동아시아 전체에 대한 이해를 도모할 수 있는 좋은 기회가 될 것입니다!

 Ø 쉽게누릴수있는장학금시스템 Scholarships and Awards

 한양대학교에서는 이번 국제여름학교에 참가한 학생들에게 다양한 장학금과 상을 마련할 예정입니다. - Early Registration Scholarship: 일찍 등록한 학생들에게 장학금의 혜택을 제공합니다. - Group Participation Scholarship: 2명 이상의 그룹으로 등록한 학생들에게 장학금이 수여됩니다. - Hanyang Family Scholarship: 한양대학교 동문의 자녀이거나, 한양대학교 교직원의 자녀인 경우 장학금이 지급됩니다. - Scholarship for Students with recommendation: 한양대학교 교수나 직원 또는 이전 한양대학교 국제여름학교에 참가한 학생들에게서 추천 받은 학생에게는 할인혜택이 제공됩니다. - International Buddy Scholarship: 한양대학교 학생이나 다른 해외 학생들과 함께 등록하는 경우 장학금이 수여됩니다. - 더 자세한 사항은 홈페이지(http://iss.hanyang.ac.kr)를 참고해주세요

Special Features

Personally Designed Courses, Free Online Credit‐earning Courses, Excursions around Korea and to China

Eligibility

High school graduates or current undergraduate/graduate school students. All nations are welcome!

Program

▶ Curriculum Credit‐earning(up to 6‐10 credits) classes are taught by renowned educator invited prominent institutions abroad including UC Berkeley, Northwestern University, UC Santa Barbara, Columbia University, Georgia Tech, Ohio Northern University, USC, etc. Everyday except Wednesday, extra Korean language classes (2 credits) will be offered for free after 4:00 PM.

▶ Friendships Opportunities to meet and interact with local and other international students through Field Trips and the Buddy Program

▶ Cultural Experiences Visits to places interests both in Korea and abroad through various day trips and the China camp at Xi’an Jaotong University

▶ Scholarships (*please refer to the table below)

▶ Personally Designed Courses Additional/New classes can be offered upon request(5 or more students must attend)

▶ Free Online Courses Students can get extra credit by taking online courses for free

■ Graduation/Farewell Party: July 23^rd

■ China Camp at Xi’an Jaotong University: July 26^th – August 2^nd
