Last night, Sixth Form pupils gathered for the final Lectern Club of the academic year. A formal dinner and speaking event held at the Master's Lodge and centred on the theme “An Elephant in the Room.”

The Lectern Club is a longstanding Marlborough tradition, offering pupils a unique opportunity to practise the art of public speaking in a formal yet supportive setting. Over dinner, pupils deliver short, thought-provoking speeches, interpreting each theme in their own individual style.

Congratulations to all who participated throughout the year. Your eloquence, originality and confidence have made each evening memorable. We look forward to welcoming a new set of speakers when the Lectern Club returns next year.
