부모님과 함께 찾아온 한나

연세대에 근무하는 아빠를 따라 한국에서 살게 된 한나는 초등학교 2학년 나이입니다.

한국어와 영어를 섞어 쓰는 이중언어 사용자이고요.

그런 한나가 고국으로 돌아간 것은 지난 1월이었습니다.

한국보다는 인도에서 공부하는 것이 한나에게 더 좋을 것이라는 부모님의 판단 때문이었지요.

엄마와 함께 인도로 돌아가 초등학교에 입학한 한나가 그렇게 한 학기를 보내고 공동체를 찾아왔습니다.

한국을 방문한 한나가 부모님과 함께 잠시 공동체에 들렀습니다.

닭장에서 현장 학습하고 고양이들과 어울리기 좋아하는 한나는 아직 귀여운 초딩입니다.

"에그예요 에그 보세요!"

Hannah is now in the second grade.

She came to live in Korea with her father, who works at Yonsei University.

As a bilingual child, she naturally mixes Korean and English in everyday conversation.

Last January, however, Hannah returned to her home country.

Her parents believed that continuing her education in India would be better for her than staying in Korea.

After returning to India with her mother and starting elementary school there, she completed her first semester before visiting our community again.

(Her father, meanwhile, has become a "reverse wild-goose dad," remaining in Korea while his family lives abroad.)

During her visit to Korea, Hannah stopped by the community with her parents.

She is still an adorable little girl who loves exploring the chicken coop and spending time with the cats.

"Egg! It's an egg! Look!" she exclaimed excitedly.
