📬 *MESSAGE*
*Stealing* is taking possessions or property that rightfully belong to other people, without the right or permission to do so. Stealing has many different kinds of faces, particularly, armed robbery/illegal entry, shoplifting, looting, petty theft, dishonest business practices, employees stealing from employers, citizens cheating taxes, reluctance to pay debts, holding onto lost and found property without trying to locate the owner, claiming work or knowledge of others to be yours, cooperating with thieves, manipulating God's blessings for selfish benefit, etc.
Stealing is one of the abhorred sins in the set of the God-given ten commandments, and anybody guilty of this sin, *"must steal no longer, but must work, doing something useful with their own hands, that they may have something to share with those in need"* (Eph 4:28).
Thieves have even extended their operations into the Church, setting disgraceful reputation of the House of prayer. They shamelessly reach for other people's valuables like cellphones, handbags, shoes, wrappers, etc the owners comfortably put down while concentrating in prayer business! Congregants now need to take good care of their valuables because some people fill the church not for the word, and prayer, but to steal from you when you close your eyes in prayer.
The mission of the thief is *"only to steal and kill and destroy"* (John 10:10). Whenever you are doing any of the acts mentioned in the first paragraph above, you are the one described in John 10:10, and no thieves can inherit the kingdom of God. Stealing is a sin nomatter it's *petty theft* because *"whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much "* (Luke 16:10).
