International Cultural Exchange Programme with Tian Li Education, China

On 23 July 2024, our school had the pleasure of hosting a one-day cultural exchange programme with Tian Li International Schools, China. We warmly welcomed a group of 40 students, each paired with one of our 40 student ambassadors. The programme began with a welcome speech by our principal, Mr. Suresh Kumar, followed by a delightful Rasa Sayang dance performance by our students.

The visiting students enjoyed an engaging English workshop and were then taken on a school tour. They participated in a Malaysian kuih, Ondeh-ondeh making session in our culinary room, followed by a fun-filled time in the Art Studio where they painted their own colorful Wau, a symbol of Malaysian heritage. The participants were introduced to a variety of traditional Malaysian games such as feather kicking, Ceper, and five stones, and they had a great time playing these games.

The programme was a great success, and we look forward to more such collaborations in the future. A heartfelt thank you to our students who returned to school during the holiday break to make this event possible!
