Hand-woven, white ramie textiles from Hansan area have long been renowned for their fine texture, porosity, snow-white color, and gossamer lightness, which made them the preferred material for summer clothing. The festival marked its 15th anniversary in 2004. Each year, it offers a wonderful time to appreciate ramie fabrics and elegant traditional ramie clothes, as well as trendy new styles. Visitors can try on ramie clothes.
