Mother Tongue Week  모국어 주간

Here at SCIPS, we take great pride in the rich linguistic and cultural diversity that defines our vibrant community. During Mother Tongue Week, our celebrations featured a series of wonderful student presentations in which they shared their languages and cultural backgrounds with their peers. The week was further enlivened by a national costume showcase and parade, where students proudly displayed traditional attire representing their heritage. A variety of engaging language games also brought joy and learning to the occasion. Through these meaningful activities, we were reminded that our mother tongues are a vital part of our identity, culture, and heritage, and that safeguarding languages helps preserve the remarkable richness of human culture.

이곳 SCIPS에서는 활기찬 공동체를 정의하는 풍부한 언어적, 문화적 다양성에 큰 자부심을 느낍니다. 모국어 주간 동안 우리의 축하 행사에서는 동료들과 자신의 언어와 문화적 배경을 공유하는 멋진 학생 발표가 이어졌습니다. 한 주 동안 학생들은 자신의 전통을 대표하는 전통 의상을 자랑스럽게 선보이는 전국 의상 쇼케이스와 퍼레이드를 통해 더욱 활기를 불어넣었습니다. 다양한 참여형 언어 게임도 즐거움과 배움을 선사했습니다. 이러한 의미 있는 활동을 통해 모국어는 우리의 정체성, 문화, 유산의 중요한 부분이며, 언어를 보호하는 것이 인류 문화의 놀라운 풍요로움을 보존하는 데 도움이 된다는 것을 상기시켰습니다.
