Direct and Manage Assortment. - Assorts cross category product type collections by gender, account, and/or marketplace. - In partnership with Regional Product Merchandising team, identifies potential gaps in line plan, makes recommendations for possible Quick Strike and Special Make Up product needs. - Drives effective go to market strategy by product type ? flow, models, skus, price consistency, margin, and franchises.
Go To Market Process - May own the process and information flow from categories to regions and in some cases countries. Supplies data to sales for creation of sales tools.
- Collaborates with and hands over to sales the seasonal GTM strategies. - Creates marketplace assortment using analytical data such as trends, sell-through and consumer insights. - Collaborates with Regional Category Merchandising teams on assortment planning to support the Global Category Strategy and hit regional marketplace deliverables.
Financial Management - Resolves any pricing issues across categories. - Owns cross-category revenue targets by season including regional profitability and margins. - Creates and updates seasonal forecasts. |
