CAS experience-senior student Funan's CAS journey.

As part of her CAS experience, our senior student Funan has demonstrated both initiative and empathy through her ongoing involvement with the Helping Hands Club. Drawing inspiration from her family’s values during Ramadan, she chose to dedicate her Eid funds to a thoughtful act of service.

During a previous visit to the HELP Centre, Funan noticed that several children had drawn McDonald’s in their story cards—an observation that stayed with her. Motivated by this small but meaningful detail, she decided to purchase Happy Meals for each child. Some of the children even chose to save their meals to share with younger siblings at home, a gesture that deeply moved her.

Funan’s reflection and action exemplify how service learning, when approached with intention, can foster both compassion and leadership. We’re proud of the integrity and thoughtfulness she brings to her CAS journey.

CAS 경험의 일환으로, 저희 4학년 학생 푸난은 헬핑 핸즈 클럽에 지속적으로 참여함으로써 주도성과 공감을 동시에 보여주었습니다. 라마단 기간 동안 가족의 가치관에서 영감을 받아, 그녀는 이드 기금을 사려 깊은 봉사 활동에 기부하기로 결정했습니다.
이전에 HELP 센터를 방문했을 때 푸난은 여러 아이들이 스토리 카드에 맥도날드를 그린 것을 발견했는데, 이 관찰은 그녀에게 남아있었습니다. 이 작지만 의미 있는 세부 사항에 영감을 받아 푸난은 각 아이에게 해피밀을 구매하기로 결정했습니다. 일부 아이들은 집에서 동생들과 함께 식사를 나누기 위해 식사를 절약하기로 결정했는데, 이는 푸난에게 깊은 감동을 주었습니다.
푸난의 성찰과 행동은 의도를 가지고 접근했을 때 서비스 학습이 어떻게 연민과 리더십을 모두 키울 수 있는지를 보여줍니다. 우리는 푸난이 CAS 여정에 가져온 진실성과 사려 깊은 마음을 자랑스럽게 생각합니다.
