의미

"I'll have to ~"는 "~해야만 할 것 같다/할 것이다"라는 의미로, 의무, 필요, 혹은 어쩔 수 없이 ~할 상황을 표현하며, 동사 원형을 붙여 "I'll have to go (가야 할 거야)", "I'll have to think about it (생각해봐야겠어)"처럼 사용됩니다. 이는 "~할 필요가 있다"와 비슷하지만 미래의 필연성이나 당위성을 더 강조하며, 주문할 때 "I'll have this (이걸로 할게요)"처럼 선택을 나타내기도 합니다.

용법

미래의 의무/필요성:
"I'll have to study for the test." (시험공부를 해야 할 거야.)
"I'll have to tell the boss." (사장님께 알려야만 하겠어.)

상황에 따른 결정/선택:
"I'll have to give it some thought." (심사숙고해 봐야겠어요.)
"I'll have to reschedule the meeting." (회의 일정을 다시 잡아야겠어요.)

부드러운 거절:

'I have to say ~'와 비교

즉, '~해야만 한다'는 당위성이나 미래의 필요를 나타낼 땐 "I'll have to + 동사"를, 칭찬이나 강조를 할 땐 "I have to say"를 사용하면 됩니다.
