Year 5 Exit Point - Mission To Mars  화성 탐사

For their Mission to Mars Exit Point, Year 5 proudly hosted a Mars Expo, inviting parents in to explore and celebrate their learning journey.

Two standout highlights of the event were the incredible multi-medium art pieces and the balloon-powered Mars Rovers. Through their artwork, the children imagined and illustrated what life on Mars might look like in the future, using a variety of creative techniques to refine and improve their ideas.

Equally impressive were the Mars Rovers, which the children designed and built themselves. They confidently explained their design process, sharing how they tested their models, identified faults, and made improvements such as ensuring their rovers could move effectively and travel in a straight line.

After showcasing their work, everyone headed outside for an exciting rover race, where the children put their designs to the test and competed to be crowned the overall Year 5 champion!

We are so proud of the creativity, resilience, and enthusiasm the children demonstrated throughout this unit. Well done, Year 5!화성 탈출 지점으로 향하는 미션을 위해 5학년은 자랑스럽게 화성 엑스포를 개최하여 부모님들을 초청하여 탐험하고 학습 여정을 축하했습니다.
이 행사의 두 가지 하이라이트는 놀라운 멀티미디어 아트 작품과 풍선으로 구동되는 화성 탐사 로봇이었습니다. 아이들은 작품을 통해 화성의 미래 생명체가 어떤 모습일지 상상하고 그림을 그리며 다양한 창의적인 기법을 사용하여 아이디어를 다듬고 개선했습니다.
아이들이 직접 설계하고 제작한 화성 로버도 인상적이었습니다. 아이들은 자신 있게 디자인 과정을 설명하며 모델 테스트, 결함 식별, 로버가 효과적으로 움직이고 직선으로 이동할 수 있도록 개선하는 등의 방법을 공유했습니다.
작품을 선보인 후 모두가 흥미진진한 로버 경주를 위해 밖으로 나섰고, 아이들은 자신의 디자인을 시험해보고 종합 5년차 챔피언으로 등극하기 위해 경쟁했습니다!
이 단원에서 아이들이 보여준 창의성, 회복력, 열정이 정말 자랑스럽습니다. 잘했어요, 5학년!
