10 students from Y8 to Y13 take the PADI Aware Shark Conservation Course.

10 students from Y8 to Y13 went to the S.E.A. Aquarium in Sentosa, Singapore, to take the PADI Aware Shark Conservation Course.

After 3 hours of lessons in the classroom and a written quiz, the students did 2 dives in the 2 large tanks of the aquarium. During their time underwater, they encountered 13 different shark species, from hammerheads, grey, blacktips, and bamboo to the very impressive sand tiger shark

Altogether, the students spent nearly 2 hours under water in the company of these majestic predators who swam very close to them. All the students passed the course and will receive their certificate in assembly at the end of term. A huge thank you to the staff at the aquarium, especially Ferdy and Joel, the 2 instructors for the day!
