<비교급+than anything else>는 '다른 그 무엇보다 더 ~한'이란 뜻으로 최상급의 의미를 갖는다. 사람인 경우에는 anything 대신에 anyone[anybody]을 쓴다.

비교급+than anything else:다른 무엇보다도 더 ~한(최상급) =부정주어~so[as]+원급+as =부정주어~비교급+than =the+최상급

ex)Teamwork is more important than anything else. =Nothing is so[as] important as teamwork. =Nothing is more important than teamwork. =Teamwork is the most important thing.

cf.<비교급+than any other+단수 명사> 역시 '다른 어느 ~보다 더'라는 뜻으로 최상급의 의미를 갖는다.

ex)He is taller than any other boy in his class.(그는 자기 반의 그 어떤 남학생보다 키가 크다.)
