A Single Leaf Shows Autumn
.

A Single Leaf Shows Autumn
.
To know autumn by watching a single leaf fall...
(Our old writing system, the compressiveness and symbolism of Chinese characters... It's amazing. haha)
It is a remark that exudes the ease of someone who has attained enlightenment.
It’s not that I’ve realized it and am completely at ease, but just saying.
.
This place is 5,000 feet above sea level, 1,500 meters.
It's a fairly highland.
Should I say the Colorado Plateau?
Though the Southwest hot sunlight pounds the earth all year round, as in the dry wilderness, its generally fresh texture is what I truly enjoy.
What a enjoyable feeling of the cool breeze in the shade...
.
This summer was said to be the hottest in California’s 130 or so years of climate observation.
Even here in summer, the usual weather pattern was troubled by an abnormally sweltering heat for a while...
Finally, the dry night breeze that cools the blazing sun’s furnace signals the arrival of autumn.
Even if the heat might be intense for a while more, it will not last until next summer. so we say, "See you later."
.
A single-leaf shows all...
Now, let us enjoy the full mountain of red leaves spreading across the world in our imagination.
Among them are the leaves that were falling down like snow in New Jersey’s residential areas and the breathtaking scenery of New York’s Seven Lakes Drive.
What is regrettable is that, in reality, once you go there, it is difficult to witness the fleeting flicker of that moment from over forty years ago due to climate change.
So there’s no need to spend money and go through all the trouble just to see the world.
If the whole world is contained within my heart...
.
Though everything is in my heart, the photo is replaced with just a few chrysanthemums and a soybean paste stew that resembles the former.
