AS A MEMBER OF THE MEDICAL PROFESSION:
이제 의업에 종사할 허락을 받음에,

I SOLEMNLY PLEDGE to dedicate my life to the service of humanity;
나의 생애를 인류봉사에 바칠 것을 엄숙히 선서하노라.

THE HEALTH AND WELL-BEING OF MY PATIENT will be my first consideration;
환자의 건강과 안녕을 첫째로 생각하겠다.

I WILL RESPECT the autonomy and dignity of my patient;
나는 환자의 자율성과 존엄성을 존중하겠다.

I WILL MAINTAIN the utmost respect for human life;
인간의 생명을 지극한 존중으로 대하겠다.

I WILL NOT PERMIT considerations of age, disease or disability, creed, ethnic origin, gender, nationality, political affiliation, race, sexual orientation, social standing or any other factor to intervene between my duty and my patient;
나이, 질병이나 장애, 신념, 민족적 기원, 성별, 국적, 정치적 성향, 인종, 성적 지향, 사회적 지위 또는 그 어떠한 요인도 나의 의무와 환자 사이에 개입하지 않도록 하겠다.

I WILL RESPECT the secrets that are confided in me, even after the patient has died;
환자가 사망한 후라도 나에게 알려진 환자의 비밀을 지키겠다.

I WILL PRACTISE my profession with conscience and dignity and in accordance with good medical practice;
나의 양심과 위엄을 가지고, 올바른 의료 관행에 따라 의술을 베풀겠다.

I WILL FOSTER the honour and noble traditions of the medical profession;
의업의 명예와 고귀한 전통을 지켜 나가겠다.

I WILL GIVE to my teachers, colleagues, and students the respect and gratitude that is their due;
나의 스승과 동료, 제자들에게 마땅한 존경과 감사를 표하겠다.

I WILL SHARE my medical knowledge for the benefit of the patient and the advancement of healthcare;
환자의 이익과 의료의 발전을 위해 나의 의학 지식을 나누겠다.

I WILL ATTEND TO my own health, well-being, and abilities in order to provide care of the highest standard;
최상의 진료를 제공하기 위해 나 자신의 건강과 안녕, 능력을 돌보겠다.

I WILL NOT USE my medical knowledge to violate human rights and civil liberties, even under threat;
비록 위협을 당할지라도 나의 의학 지식을 인권과 시민의 자유를 침해하는 데 사용하지 않겠다.

I MAKE THESE PROMISES solemnly, freely, and upon my honour.
