8.水地比(수지비).䷇ ......4

  ▣ 六二 比之自內 貞 吉

       육이  비지자내  정 길

     [풀이]

        [육2]는 친하기를 안으로부터 하니, (그렇게 한다면) 일을 맡아 함에 길할 것이다.

     [해설]

        유일한 남자 [구5]와 정응하는 중정 [육2]는 정해 놓은 배필이요 본처요 중전이요

        약속한 계약자요 단골 거래처다.

        저 깊은 마음으로부터 친하니[比之自內,비지자내] 일을 맡아 바르게만 하면 길할 것이다[貞吉,정길].

        그러나 정하여 변하지 않을 배필이라 하더라도, 유순과 중정의 도를 넘으면 不吉(불길)할 것이 분명하다.

        유일한 [구5] 곁에는 나를 포함한 세상 모두가 陰(음)이다.

        또 5 곁에는 4와 상이 친근한 거리에 있어, 정응이 나를 시기하고 질투할 일들을 만들어 낼 수 있다.

        그렇다고 배필이요 중전이요 본처라도 도를 벗어나면 곤란한 것이다.

        고로 공자는 "저 깊은 속마음에서부터 친하다는 것은, 자신의 본분을 잃지 않고 5를 믿는 마음이 하늘 같아야 한다

        [象曰 比之自內 不自失也,상왈 비지자내 불자실야]"라고 주석하는 것이다.

        이로써 보면 2는 영웅본색을 절대로 잃을 사람이 아니다.

        좋은 예로 은나라를 세운 經世濟民(경세제민)의 명재상 伊尹(이윤)이 있다.

        지욱이 禪解(선해)는 2처럼 '欲天(욕천)'에 든 사람은 복이 있고 지혜도 있기에

        다만 모름지기 안으로 심정을 닦아  오로지 안에서 밖을 통하는 자라 한다.

        比卦(비괘)가 重水坎卦(중수감괘)로 가는 경우다.

        한편 '自內(자내)'는 '안에 있는 자기 자신',  '자기 가족',  '집안 사람', '내부인'으로 봐도 무방하다.

     8. Alliance / Union(Su Ji Bi / Hexagram 8)

      ▣ Six in the second line : Seeking union from within.

           Reghteousness / Perseverance brings good fortune.

      [Explanation]

         Six in the second line[六二,육이] seeks closeness / union from within;

         doing so and handling tasks with righteousness will bring good fortune.

      [Commentary]

         Six in the second line [六二,육이], being central and upright and in proper correspondence

         with the aole man, Nine in the fifth line[九五,구오], is the destined spouse, the promised,

         the queen, the promised contractor, and a regular client.

         If one forms closeness from deep within the heart [比之自內,비지자내] and handles tasks uprightly,

         it will bring good fortune [貞吉,정길].

         Hewever, even if one is the destined spouse who will remain steadfast and unchanging,

         exceeding and central uprightness will clearly bring bad fortune [不吉,불길].

         Beside the sole Nine in the fifth line [九五,구오],everyone in the world, including oneself,

         is Yin(陰,음).

         Moreover, lines 4 and Line Six at the top [上,상] are at close distances near line 5,

         while could create situations where line 2's proper correspondent is envied and envied.

         Even so, even a destined spouse, queen, or primary wife will fsce difficulty if they devate

         from the righteous path.

         Therefore, Confucius commented, "Seeking closeness from deep within the inner mind means

         not losing one's intrinsic duty and keeping a heart of faith toward line 5 that is as vast 

         as heaven  [象曰 比之自內 不自失也,상왈 비지자내 불자실야]".

         Viewed in this light, line 2 is never a person who loses their true self.

         A good example is Yi Yin (伊尹,이윤), the famous Prime Minister who saved the people

         (經世濟民,경세제민) to establish the Shang(Shang/Yin) Dynasty.

         Furthemore, Ji-uk(지욱) / Sun-hae(禪解,선해) says that like line 2,

         a oerson who has attained 'desiring Heaven [欲天,욕천] has blessings and wisdom,

         but must cultivate their inner heart to communicate from inside to outside.

         This applies when the Bi Hexagram(比卦,비괘) changes into the Zhong-Shui-Kan Hexagram

         (重水坎卦,중수감괘 - Hexagram 29).

         Meanwhile, 'from within(自內,자내)' can also be understood as 'oneself inside,'

        'one's family,' 'household members,' or ;internal staff/insiders'.
