In an outstanding achievement, Avyakta, Year 6, has been named Junior Scientist of the Year in the International Schools Partnership's Scientists 2024 programme!
Tackling real-world problems, Avyakta's research highlights the importance of reducing food waste and how composting can be a game-changer in sustainability efforts.
Avyakta, who managed to surpass her own expectations and scored 100% in all the modules, shared: "The global programme has sparked my curiosity to learn about food waste and how it impacts our environment. Encouraged by my parents, teachers and friends, I achieved my research goals to help preserve the environment. I did it!"
This global life skills programme covers 22 countries and provides a unique opportunity for students to become citizen scientists and contribute to real-world STEM research.
