Here’s Kei Lye, our amazing school counsellor. Born in Johor Bahru, Kei Lye has lived in some incredible places like Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, and Sheffield, UK. These experiences have given her a unique perspective on empathy, understanding, and connection.

Kei Lye’s journey into counselling started in Sheffield, where she volunteered as a caseworker for refugees. It was there that she realised the power of simply being there for someone in need. This experience sparked her passion for counselling.

She’s worked with people from all walks of life, especially children and youth. At Tenby, Kei Lye is dedicated to creating a warm, inclusive, and safe space where every student feels seen, heard, and supported. She does this by working closely with teachers and parents to help our students grow both academically and emotionally.

When she’s not in school, Kei Lye enjoys reading, finding new coffee spots, and keeping up with the latest pop culture trends. These interests help her connect with students easily, building trust.

여기 놀라운 학교 상담사 케이 라이가 있습니다. 조호르 바루에서 태어난 케이 라이는 싱가포르, 쿠알라룸푸르, 영국 셰필드 등 놀라운 곳에서 살았습니다. 이러한 경험을 통해 그녀는 공감, 이해, 연결에 대한 독특한 관점을 갖게 되었습니다.
케이 라이의 상담 여정은 셰필드에서 시작되어 난민을 위한 사례 봉사자로 자원했습니다. 그곳에서 그녀는 단순히 도움이 필요한 사람을 위해 존재하는 힘을 깨달았습니다. 이 경험은 그녀의 상담에 대한 열정을 불러일으켰습니다.
그녀는 특히 어린이와 청소년을 포함한 각계각층의 사람들과 함께 일해 왔습니다. 텐비에서 케이 라이는 모든 학생이 보고, 듣고, 지원받는 따뜻하고 포용적이며 안전한 공간을 만드는 데 전념하고 있습니다. 그녀는 교사 및 학부모와 긴밀히 협력하여 학생들이 학업적으로나 정서적으로 성장할 수 있도록 돕고 있습니다.
케이 라이는 학교에 다니지 않을 때 독서를 즐기고, 새로운 커피 장소를 찾고, 최신 대중문화 트렌드를 따라가는 것을 즐깁니다. 이러한 관심사는 학생들과 쉽게 소통하며 신뢰를 쌓는 데 도움이 됩니다.
