참을 찾는 자 - 그리스도와의 연합, 주와 동행 / 요한복음 4장

이 후에 예수께서 제자들과 유대 땅으로 가서 거기 함께 유하시며 세례를 주시더라. 요한도 살렘 가까운 애논에서 세례를 주니 거기 물들이 많음이라 사람들이 와서 세례를 받더라. 요한이 아직 옥에 갇히지 아니하였더라. 이에 요한의 제자 중에서 한 유대인으로 더불어 결례에 대하여 변론이 되었더니 저희가 요한에게 와서 가로되 랍비여 선생님과 함께 요단강 저편에 있던 자 곧 선생님이 증거 하시던 자가 세례를 주매 사람이 다 그에게로 가더이다. 요한이 대답하여 가로되 만일 하늘에서 주신바 아니면 사람이 아무 것도 받을 수 없느니라. 나의 말한바 나는 그리스도가 아니요 그의 앞에 보내심을 받은 자라고 한 것을 증거 할 자는 너희니라 신부를 취하는 자는 신랑이나 서서 신랑의 음성을 듣는 친구가 크게 기뻐하나니 나는 이러한 기쁨이 충만하였노라 그는 흥하여야 하겠고 나는 쇠하여야 하리라 하니라 위로부터 오시는 이는 만물 위에 계시고 땅에서 난 이는 땅에 속하여 땅에 속한 것을 말하느니라. 하늘로서 오시는 이는 만물 위에 계시나니 그가 그 보고 들은 것을 증거 하되 그의 증거를 받는 이가 없도다. 그의 증거를 받는 이는 하나님을 참되시다 하여 인 쳤느니라. 하나님의 보내신 이는 하나님의 말씀을 하나니 이는 하나님이 성령을 한량없이 주심이니라 아버지께서 아들을 사랑하사 만물을 다 그 손에 주셨으니 아들을 믿는 자는 영생이 있고 아들을 순종치 아니하는 자는 영생을 보지 못하고 도리어 하나님의 진노가 그 위에 머물러 있느니라. 요한복음 3:22-36

첫 명절 세 번 째 설교 – 불멸의 시대 - 그리스도와의 연합, 주와 동행 / 요한복음 3:22-36

영생은 주께서 믿는 자들을 위해 준비하시고 베풀어주시는 축복입니다. 본문에 말씀하시기를 분명히 아들이 있는 자에게만 영생이 있다고 하셨습니다. 그런데 오늘 날의 세상은 주 예수 그리스도를 통하지 않고서도 영생에 이를 수 있는 과학기술을 내 놓으려하고 있습니다. 심지어 믿는 자들조차 마음이 동요되고 있는 실정입니다. 그러나 과연 과학 기술이 제공하는 불멸의 생명이 우리가 믿음으로 가지고 있는 영생에 대한 실상일까요? 이제 이것을 두고 생각해야할 시대가 되었습니다.

오늘의 설교 중에는 두 가지의 주제가 다루어집니다. 아들과 영생, 신랑과 친구입니다. 아들이 있는 곳에 영생이 있다 하셨습니다. 따라서 우리는 아들을 알아야 하고 또 영생을 알아야 합니다. 아들은 당연히 우리 주 예수 그리스도입니다. 우리 중 이를 모르는 사람은 없습니다. 그러나 중요한 것은 우리 주 예수 그리스도를 어떻게 알고 있느냐는 것입니다. 특히 영생과 관련하여 아들을 바로 아는 것이 필요합니다.

‘아들’로서의 하나님은 특히 ‘창조 가운데 들어오셔서 역사하심’을 의미합니다. 이 부분이 그리스도와의 연합에 관계되어 있습니다. 이 연합을 위하여 성경의 예언과 사람으로 나심, 생애와 고난, 십자가, 그리고 부활의 모든 과정이 있었습니다. 결국 하나님과 인간들 모두에게 이해와 인식의 길을 열어 놓으시고 사람의 인식 범위 내의 믿음을 가질 수 있게 하셨습니다. 즉 우리는 복음을 통하여 주께서 어떻게 우리에게 오셔서 하나가 되셨는지를 알 수 있게 되었습니다.

그런데 이 ‘아들’이 곧 하나님이신 사람, 사람이신 하나님이신데 이는 영원과 창조의 세계를 공존하시는 존재입니다. 그리고 우리들의 영은 바로 이 아들 안에 포함되어 있습니다. 이제 우리가 아들을 알고 믿는 것은 우리의 참 자신이 이 ‘아들’ 안에 있어 영원과 창조의 세계를 함께 존재하고 살아가는 것을 말합니다. 그런 이유로 ‘아들’을 믿는 자들에게 영생이 있는 것입니다. 즉 여기의 영생은 시간의 무한을 살아가는 것이 아니라 시공을 초월한 세계에 존재함을 의미합니다.

이는 자신이 누구냐 하는 인식의 문제를 다루고 있습니다. 우리는 흔히 의식을 자신이라고 여기고 살아갑니다. 그러나 위에 언급한 아들은 의식만을 의미하지 않습니다. 영원에 존재하는 영으로서의 아들이 있음을 알아야 합니다. 그러나 여기에 또 분리하는 못된 습성이 발휘 될 수 있습니다. 분명한 것은 영과 영혼은 결코 분리 될 수 없습니다. 주님과 우리의 영, 영과 영혼, 영혼과 몸. 이 모든 것은 분리 되는 대상들이 아닙니다. 하나입니다.

우리가 삶에서 대부분 자신이라고 생각하는 의식, 그 중에서도 의지의 부분을 오늘 본문에서는 신랑의 친구, 즉 요한 자신이라고 설명합니다. 요한은 말합니다. “그는 흥하여야 하겠고 나는 쇠하여야 하리라.” 우리의 의식은 나름의 계획과 계산법을 가지고 있습니다. 삶의 방식도 있습니다. 그리고 대부분의 우리는 이 방식을 고수하고 관철시키려 합니다. 특히 우리가 약하여 넉넉하지 못하다 여길 때는 더욱 옛날 방식에 집착하게 됩니다. 그럴 때 우리는 우리 자신이 바로 세례 요한이라는 사실을 상기할 필요가 있습니다.

Third Sermon of the First Feast period – Eternal Life, Son, Groom and Friends

After these things Jesus and His disciples came into the land of Judea, and there He was spending time with them and baptizing. John also was baptizing in Aenon near Salim, because there was much water there; and people were coming and were being baptized-- for John had not yet been thrown into prison. Therefore there arose a discussion on the part of John's disciples with a Jew about purification. And they came to John and said to him, "Rabbi, He who was with you beyond the Jordan, to whom you have testified, behold, He is baptizing and all are coming to Him." John answered and said, "A man can receive nothing unless it has been given him from heaven. "You yourselves are my witnesses that I said, 'I am not the Christ,' but, 'I have been sent ahead of Him.' "He who has the bride is the bridegroom; but the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him rejoices greatly because of the bridegroom's voice So this joy of mine has been made full. "He must increase, but I must decrease. "He who comes from above is above all, he who is of the earth is from the earth and speaks of the earth He who comes from heaven is above all. "What He has seen and heard, of that He testifies; and no one receives His testimony. "He who has received His testimony has set his seal to this, that God is true. "For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God; for He gives the Spirit without measure. "The Father loves the Son and has given all things into His hand. "He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him." John 3:22-36

Eternal life is a blessing that the Lord prepares and gives for those who believe. In the text, he said that only those who have the Son have eternal life. But today's world is trying to provide science and technology that can lead to eternal life without through the Lord Jesus Christ. Even those who believe are in a state of agitated state. But is the immortal life provided by technology the reality of eternal life that we have in faith? Now is the time to think about this.

Two topics are covered during today's sermon. The Son and eternal life, the groom and His friend. He said there is eternal life where the Son is. Therefore, we must know the Son and know eternal life. Son is of course our Lord Jesus Christ. There's no one among us who doesn't know this. But the important thing is how you know our Lord Jesus Christ. In particular, it is necessary to know the Son right away in relation to eternal life.

God as 'the Son' especially means 'to come into the midst of creation and to history'. This part is involved in the unification with Christ. For this, there was the whole process of the prophecy of the Bible and of the birth as a man, living and suffering, the crucifixion, and resurrection. In the end, he opened the way for understanding and perception for both God and humans and allowed them to have faith within human perception. In other words, through the gospel, we can see how the Lord came to us and became one.

By the way, this "Son" is God, who is man, and Man, who is God, who coexists in the world of eternity and creation. And our spirit is included in this very Son. Now that we know and believe in the Son means that we are in this "Son" and exist and live together in a world of eternity and creation. That's why those who believe in 'son' have eternal life. In other words, eternal life here means that it exists in a world that transcends time and space, not in the infiniteness of time.

It deals with the question of perception of who you are. We often regard consciousness as our own and live. However, the son mentioned above does not only mean consciousness. We need to know that there is a son who exists in eternity as a spirit. However, there can be another bad habit of separating them. Clearly, spirit and soul can never be separated. Lord and our spirit, spirit and soul, soul and body. All of these are not separate objects. It's one.

In today's text, we describe the consciousness that we consider ourselves most of our lives, and the will among them, as the groom's friend, John himself. John says. "He must increase, but I must decrease." Our consciousness has its own plans and calculations. and a way of life. Most of us try to stick to this and push through it. Especially when we are weak and think that we are not good enough condition, we become obsessed with the old way. At that time, we need to remind ourselves that we are John the Baptist, the friend of the groom, the spirit and the Lord.
