The butler being called,and his consent secured, the cook fell to making the crusts for his novel pie,while Gilligren was taken to the servants‘hall and dressed in gorgeous suit of King‘s livery.

호출되어온 집사와 (파이 만드는데) 동의한  요리사는 길리그렌이 하인들 방에서 왕의 의상을 입어보고 있는동안 그의 유명한 파이만드는 빵껍질을 만들기 시작했다. (crust는 파이 밑에 덮는 밀가루로 된 껍질 있죠? 그걸 말합니다.  )

When the dinner was served,the King kept look-ing for the blackbird pie,but he said nothing,and at last the pie was piaced before hin,its crusts looking light and brown,and springs of myrtle being stuck in the four cornersto make it look more inviting.

저녁식사가 나올때 왕은 블랙버드 파이를 계속 찾아봤지만 아무말도 안했고 (파이가 어딨냐고..) 마침내 파이는 왕앞에 놓여졌다.  파이 껍질은 옅은 갈색을 띄고 있었고 네 귀퉁이돌에 박혀 있던 은매화의 스프링은 파이를 더욱 매혹적이게 보이게 했다.

여기서 hin은 him즉 왕인거같아요.
