Tenby SEG-Year 6 recently went on an adventure at Sungai Melayu!

To consolidate their learning Year 6 recently went on an adventure at Sungai Melayu! This trip brought their learning full circle under the --‘Building A Village’ unit. There they were able to experience the river and develop an understanding of Eco Tourism in Iskandar Puteri

Our students had a wonderful time learning about the river, discovering the diverse creatures that make up the ecosystem of Sungai Melayu, and understanding the livelihood of the local fishermen who frequent the area.

Activities included crab catching, a mangrove swamp boat ride, visit to a mussel farm, traditional games and craft making.

This hands-on experience not only enriched their knowledge but also sparked a deeper appreciation for nature and community. We were pleased to see our students so engaged and enthusiastic about their learning journey!

학습을 강화하기 위해 최근 숭가이 멜라유에서 6학년이 모험을 떠났습니다! 이번 여행을 통해 그들은 '마을 만들기'라는 단원 아래에서 학습을 할 수 있었습니다. 그곳에서 그들은 이스칸다르 푸테리에서 강을 경험하고 에코 투어리즘에 대한 이해를 키울 수 있었습니다
우리 학생들은 강에 대해 배우고, 순가이 멜라유 생태계를 구성하는 다양한 생물들을 발견하며, 이 지역을 자주 찾는 현지 어부들의 생계를 이해하며 즐거운 시간을 보냈습니다.
활동에는 게 잡기, 맹그로브 늪 보트 타기, 홍합 농장 방문, 전통 놀이, 공예품 만들기 등이 포함되었습니다.
이러한 실습 경험은 학생들의 지식을 풍부하게 할 뿐만 아니라 자연과 공동체에 대한 깊은 감사를 불러일으켰습니다. 학생들이 학습 여정에 이렇게 몰입하고 열정적으로 임하는 모습을 보게 되어 기뻤습니다!
