On Thursday morning the 23/01/25, I discovered you were in Paris in my country! France! I canceled all my jobs and rushed out of my seaside home, to take a train to Paris. I live far from Pari. I was surprised, we had no warning signs of departure from Korea as we often do, when you come to Europe.
I just left, hoping to finally meet you for the first time. I am so far from everything you do, films, fashion events, fan meets. It is so hard to see you in Europe. I follow all you do with my account Rowoon France support. In Asia it is a dream, each time I see the gatherings between you and your fans. With my Rowoon Europe friends, we decided to try to find you in Paris, we had no idea then, you would be at Le Gala des pièces jaunes! We found out late when you posted his story.
The seats had been sold out ages ago of course. No way to get in. Only our Parisian friend Lassie was lucky to be given a seat before. I was heartbroken not to be inside. It was so sad, to be so close and yet not there. We waited in the dark for you to come out, only to find out that all vips were leaving from an underground parking, with tainted glass cars. We had no chance to see you. I am not used to waiting like this for a celebrity. Never did. For me, you are someting else, an exception. Your intelligence, talent, kindness and beautiful heart are unique. I just wanted to see you, be next to you and say thank you. Especially now I know you are going to the army in a few months.
My hope began to crumble as we could not find you. After a sleepless night, yesterday, we tried again and again, going all over the luxury hotels in Paris and finally gave up. I was in this big city and you were somewhere there too, under my sky, breathing the same air. I thought maybe you were on a private trip and I am happy when you are having time for yourself alone, away from everyone, as I know being a celebrity can be very hard at times.
Rain, gray clouds over Paris and in my heart a sad song. I am headed back home in a train running into the night.
Still, in spite of the pain in my heart, I am happy to see the videos of you dancing and having fun at the gala with your friends, in my country.
It is so heart warming to see you happy.
You see, France loves Korean artists and you are a shining star amongst them all, unique, the only one for me. Dear Seok Woo, your European fans love you too.
Could you ask your managers for a fan meet in Paris or even a Meet and Greet event before you go to enlist? Our last chance to see you. Your smile is a gift to the world. Safe trip back. All my love. Cathieh
