♡ 미 상원 회기 개회식 기도문 이 기도문은 미국 뿐아니라 우리의 영적 현주소를 고백하는 내용으로 가슴을 치게 합니다. (영어와 한국어로 같이 텍스트합니다) This interesting prayer was given in Kansas, USA,at the opening session of their Senate. 이 놀라운 기도는 미국캔사스에서 있었던 상원 개회식에서 드려졌는데요. Itseems prayer still upsets some people. 이 기도가 아직도 사람들을 흔들고 있는 것 같습니다. When Minister Joe Wright was asked to open the new session of the Kansas Senate, everyone was expecting the usual generalities, but this is what they heard: 조라이트 목사님이 캔사스상원 회의 개회사를 하도록 부탁받았을 때 모두들 일상적인 내용을 기대하고 있었습니다. 그러나 그의 개회사는 다음과 같았습니다. : "Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask your forgiveness and to seek your direction and guidance. 하늘의 하나님, 우리는 오늘 하나님의 용서를 원하고 인도하심을 구하기 위해 오늘 이곳에 왔습니다. We know Your Word says: "Woe to those who call evil good", but that is exactly what we have done.* 우리는 " 악을 선하다고 말하는 자는 화가있도다." 는 주의 말씀을 기억합니 다. 그런데 우리가 바로 이 말씀대로 합니다. We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed our values. 우리는 영적인 균형을 잃고 가치관이 뒤집어졌습니다. We have ridiculed the absolute truth of Your Word and called it Pluralism. 우리는 당신 말씀이 절대적 진리됨을 업신여겼습니다. 그러면서 다원주의라고 부릅니다. We have worshipped other gods and called it multiculturalism. 다른 신들을 섬기면서 그것을 다문화주의라고 부릅니다. We have endorsed perversion and called it alternative lifestyle 우리는 진리를 왜곡하는 것을 눈감아 주며 이것을 또다른 라이프스타일이라 고 부릅니다. We have exploited the poor and called it the lottery. 우리는 가난한 사람들의 것을 빼앗으 면서 '로또당첨'이라고 부릅니다. We have rewarded laziness and called it welfare. 우리는 게으름을 보상하며 이것을 복지라고 부릅니다. We have killed our unborn and called it choice. 우리는 복중의 아기를 죽이며 이것을 부모의 선택이라고 합니다. We have shot abortionists and called it justifiable. 우리는 불법낙태시술인을 연호하며 이것을 정당하다고 합니다 We have neglected to discipline our children and called it building self-esteem 우리는 자녀를 훈련하고 가르치는데 소홀히 하며 (자녀들 인성 교육을 소홀 히 하며) 이것을 그들의 자존감을 세우 는 것이라고 불렀습니다. We have abused power and called it politics. 우리는 권력을 남용했습니다. 그러면서 그것이 정치라고 불렀습니다. We have embezzled public funds and called it essential expenses 우리는 공금을 횡령했습니다. 그러면서 필수경비라고 말했습니다. We have insitutionalised bribery and called it sweets of office. 우리는 일상적으로 뇌물을 받았습니다. 그리고 이것을 "직위의 달콤함" 이라고 불렀습니다. We have coveted our neighbor's possessions and called it ambition. 우리는 다른사람의 소유를 탐냈습니 다. 그리고 이것을 야망이라고 불렀습니다. We have polluted the air with profanity and pornography and called it freedom of expression‎‎. 우리는 경건치 않은 삶과 포르노로 우리의 환경을 더럽혔습니다. 그리고 그것을 표현의 자유라고 불렀습니다. We have ridiculed the time-honored values of our forefathers and called it enlightenment. 우리는 우리 조상들의 오랫동안 존중받은 가치들을 업신여겼습니다. 그리고 그것을 개화라고 했습니다.
