Middle Cove is a coastal area about 12 kilometers north of St John's. It is famous for capeline running between May and June, and the road along the coast is also very beautiful. Capeline is a healthy fish that you can scoop up if you bring a bucket. This is because capelines gather at the beach to spawn before ending their lives, and that is the spawning season. Therefore, it can be scooped up using nets or buckets rather than fishing. You can also have a barbecue on the beach. However, there are no buses, so you have to use your own car or bicycle, and the time when they gather at the beach to lay eggs is limited to about a week. If you would like to participate, please contact us. Currently, two people are planning to visit by bicycle.
