Today,I am going to write about Making zero Waste story.

Carl and his dad wanted to reduce their food waste.So they decided to try zero-waste cooking.

First,they checked to see what they could use. There were potatoes,onions,carrots,broccoli,kale,cucumbers,and strawberries  in the fridge.  Carl's dad stared peeling the potatoes,onions,carrots,and broccoli. He saved the peels in a bag to make broth later.

Carl sliced the leftover broccoli steams and carrots in to matchsticks. Then he took the kale steams and stir-fried them in a sweet and spicy sauce. Carl's dad boiled some water,vinegar,and seasonings in a pot.Then he picked the cucumbers. Carl made some jam with the strawberries. Hooray! Their fridge was clean, and they didn't waste any food!
