일반적으로 전략게임에서 중요한 부분

Surprisingly AMD's Phenom aren't doing very well in general,

so for example the Intel Q9550 is about 20 percent faster than the X4 940 - usually those two are on the same level.

 
Conclusion: The "Runs great on Intel Core i7” logo on the back of the Empire: Total War box isn't just an eye catcher. The i7 series dominates the field of competitors followed by the strong Core 2 models. AMD's Phenoms can't keep the pace and even on the fastest Athlon 64 X2, the 6400+, Empire: Total War is running anything else than smooth. 

결론: 엠파이어 토탈워 박스 뒤에 있는 네할렘 로고는 단지 시선끌기용만은 아닌듯

 네할렘 시리즈는  강력한 코어2 모델들이 주도하는 경쟁들에서 우위를 점함

 프레임이 낮은 이유는 ???

Since you can't save during a battle in Empire: Total War, we start the challenging marine battle "Mediterranean Sea” twice and run three 30 seconds benchmarks each time. We begin recording the frame rate as soon as all the ships of all the four players are visible. Those six results were averaged. As usually this scene is a worst case scenario and only land based battles with four players with a fully zoomed in camera are more challenging.

음 Q9550이 페넘2 940be보다 대략 20프로정도 좋다고하네요... 다나와 최저가 기준으로 Q9550 (40만원) 940BE(35만원).. 근데 듀얼인 E8400 (25만원)이 가격대비 최고네요.. 전 q6600인데 걍 e8400으로 바꿀까요???

근데 지존급인 QX9770 ? 180만원? 왠만한 파워유저급 컴 조립수준이네요.. 뭐 웍스테이션이나 서버용이라 그렇지만...지존값.... 그리고 i7은 환율때문에 아직 시기상조인것 같습니다(보드,램,cpu까지하면 헐????). 돈많으면 구입해도 상관없지만 대다수 유저한테 그림에떡이네요...

네 환율이 참.. q6600 저도 써봤는데 이 기사대로 아직은 쓸만한듯..지금도 보조컴으로 사용중..

헐; E8400이 25만원인가요? 작년 6월쯤엔가 살땐 22만원이었던가, 그쯤으로 기억합니다. 결론은 환율이군요.
