창세기20장 말씀입니다.

[사랑하는 나의 가족]

[바이블 애플] KJV 흠정역 창세기20장

1. 아브라함이 거기서 남쪽 지방으로 이동하여 가데스와 수르 사이에 거하며 그랄에 머물렀더라.

And Abraham journeyed from thence toward the south country, and dwelled between Kadesh and Shur, and sojourned in Gerar.

2. 아브라함이 자기 아내 사라를 가리켜 이르기를, 그녀는 내 누이라, 하였으므로 그랄 왕 아비멜렉이 사람을 보내어 사라를 데려가니라.

And Abraham said of Sarah his wife, She [is] my sister: and Abimelech king of Gerar sent, and took Sarah.

3. 그러나 밤에 [하나님]께서 꿈에 아비멜렉에게 가셔서 그에게 이르시되, 보라, 네가 데려온 여인으로 인해 너는 죽은 자가 되었으니 그 여인은 한 남자의 아내이니라, 하시니라.

But God came to Abimelech in a dream by night, and said to him, Behold, thou [art but] a dead man, for the woman which thou hast taken; for she [is] a mans wife. 

4. 그러나 아비멜렉이 그녀에게 가까이 가지 아니하였으므로 그가 이르되, [주]여, 주께서 의로운 민족도 죽이려 하시나이까?

But Abimelech had not come near her: and he said, Lord, wilt thou slay also a righteous nation?

5. 그가 내게 이르기를, 그녀는 내 누이라, 하지 아니하였나이까? 또한 그녀도 스스로 이르기를, 그는 내 오라비라, 하였사오니 나는 순전한 마음과 무죄한 손으로 이 일을 행하였나이다, 하매

Said he not unto me, She [is] my sister? and she, even she herself said, He [is] my brother: in the integrity of my heart and innocency of my hands have I done this. 

6. [하나님]께서 꿈에 그에게 이르시되, 참으로 네가 순전한 마음으로 이 일을 행한 줄을 내가 아노라. 나 역시 너를 막아 내게 죄를 짓지 아니하게 하였나니 이런 까닭에 네가 그녀에게 손대는 것을 내가 허락하지 아니하였노라.

And God said unto him in a dream, Yea, I know that thou didst this in the integrity of thy heart; for I also withheld thee from sinning against me: therefore suffered I thee not to touch her.

7. 그러므로 이제 그 남자에게 그의 아내를 돌려보내라. 그는 대언자이므로 그가 너를 위하여 기도하리니 네가 살려니와 만일 네가 그녀를 돌려보내지 아니하면 너와 네게 속한 모든 것이 반드시 죽을 줄 알지니라, 하시니라.

Now therefore restore the man [his] wife; for he [is] a prophet, and he shall pray for thee, and thou shalt live: and if thou restore [her] not, know thou that thou shalt surely die, thou, and all that [are] thine.

8. 그러므로 아비멜렉이 아침에 일찍 일어나 자기의 모든 종을 불러 그들의 귀에 이 모든 일을 말하매 그 사람들이 심히 두려워하더라.

Therefore Abimelech rose early in the morning, and called all his servants, and told all these things in their ears: and the men were sore afraid.

9. 그때에 아비멜렉이 아브라함을 불러 그에게 이르되, 네가 우리에게 무슨 일을 행하였느냐? 내가 무슨 일로 네게 죄를 지었기에 네가 나와 내 왕국 위에 큰 죄를 가져왔느냐? 네가 마땅히 하지 말아야 할 일들을 내게 행하였도다, 하고

Then Abimelech called Abraham, and said unto him, What hast thou done unto us? and what have I offended thee, that thou hast brought on me and on my kingdom a great sin? thou hast done deeds unto me that ought not to be done.

10. 아비멜렉이 또 아브라함에게 이르되, 네가 무엇을 보았기에 이 일을 하였느냐? 하니

And Abimelech said unto Abraham, What sawest thou, that thou hast done this thing?

11. 아브라함이 이르되, 그 까닭은 분명히 이곳에는 [하나님]을 두려워함이 없으므로 내 아내로 인해 그들이 나를 죽일 줄로 내가 생각하였기 때문이라.

And Abraham said, Because I thought, Surely the fear of God [is] not in this place; and they will slay me for my wifes sake.

12. 또 그녀는 참으로 내 누이라. 그녀는 내 어머니의 딸은 아니나 내 아버지의 딸로서 내 아내가 되었노라.

And yet indeed [she is] my sister; she [is] the daughter of my father, but not the daughter of my mother; and she became my wife.

13. [하나님]께서 나로 하여금 내 아버지 집을 떠나 떠돌아다니게 하실 때에 내가 그녀에게 이르기를, 우리가 가는 곳마다 나에 대하여 말하기를, 그는 나의 오라비라, 하라. 이것이 당신이 내게 베풀 친절이라, 하였노라.

And it came to pass, when God caused me to wander from my fathers house, that I said unto her, This [is] thy kindness which thou shalt shew unto me; at every place whither we shall come, say of me, He [is] my brother.

14. 아비멜렉이 양과 소와 남종과 여종들을 취하여 아브라함에게 주고 또 그의 아내 사라도 그에게 돌려보내며

And Abimelech took sheep, and oxen, and menservants, and womenservants, and gave [them] unto Abraham, and restored him Sarah his wife.

15. 아브라함에게 이르되, 보라, 내 땅이 네 앞에 있으니 네가 기뻐하는 곳에 거하라, 하고

And Abimelech said, Behold, my land [is] before thee: dwell where it pleaseth thee. 

16. 사라에게 이르되, 보라, 내가 네 오라비에게 은 천 개를 주었은즉, 보라, 그가 너와 함께한 모든 사람과 다른 모든 사람에게 너를 위한 눈가리개가 되리라, 하였더라. 이같이 사라가 비난을 받았더라.

And unto Sarah he said, Behold, I have given thy brother a thousand [pieces] of silver: behold, he [is] to thee a covering of the eyes, unto all that [are] with thee, and with all [other]: thus she was reproved.

17. 이에 아브라함이 [하나님]께 기도하매 [하나님]께서 아비멜렉과 그의 아내와 그의 여종들을 치료하사 그들이 자녀들을 낳게 하셨으니

So Abraham prayed unto God: and God healed Abimelech, and his wife, and his maidservants; and they bare [children].

18. 이는 {주}께서 아브라함의 아내 사라로 인하여 아비멜렉의 집의 모든 태를 속히 닫으셨기 때문이더라.

For the LORD had fast closed up all the wombs of the house of Abimelech, because of Sarah Abrahams wife.
