Title : Jesus and the Samaritan Woman

1. Jesus had been teaching in Judea.

2. He and His disciples began traveling back to Galilee.

3. They traveled through Samaria and stopped in a town with a well.

4. Jesus' disciples went into town to buy food.

5. While Jesus was at the well, a Samaritan woman came to get water from the well.

6. Jesus said to her, "Give me a drink."

7. The woman was surprised.

8. "Why are you talking to me?" she asked.

9. "You are a jew, and I'm a Samaritan."

10. Jesus said, "I asked you for a drink."

11. You don't know who I  am."

12. "If you did, you would have asked Me for a drink, and I would give you living water."

13. The woman was confused.

14. She said "Sir, this well is deep, and you don't have a bucket.

15. Where do you get this "living watwer"?

16. Jesus said, "Anyone who drinks this well water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks fron the water I give will never be thirsty again!"

17. In fact, the water I give will become a well inside you, and you will have eternal life.

18. Jesus was talking about the Holy spirit, but the woman did not understand.

19. "Sir", She said, "give me this water."

20. If I'm not thirsty, I won't have to keep coming to this well to get water.

21. "Go, get your husband." Jesus said.

22. "I don't have a husband," the woman replied.

23. Jesus knew she was telling the truth.

24. He said, " You don't have a husband now, but you've had five husbands."

25. Jesus was right.

26. "I see you are a prophet." the woman said.

27. Maybe this prophet could explain something to her.

28. She said, "The Samaritans worship here on a mountain, but the jew say we need to worship at the temple in Jerusalem."

29. Jesus said, "Soon, you will not need to be in either of those places to worship God in spirit and in truth."

30. The woman said, "I know the Messiah is coming.

31. When He comes, He will explain everything to us.

32. Then Jesus said, "I am the Messiah."

33. The woman left and told the people in her town.

34. "Come , see a man who told me everything I  ever did!

35. Could this be the Messiah?

36. Many Samaritans believed in Jesus because of what the woman said.

37. Jesus stayed in their town for two days.

38. Many more believed because of what Jesus said.

39. They told the woman, "We no longer believe because of what you said, for we have heard for ourselves and know that this really is the Savior of the world.

40. Jesus offers something better than physical water. He gives us Himself.

41. Jesus gives the Holy Spirit to everyone who comes to Him by faith.

42. We can worship Him as Lord and Savior wherever we are.

1. 예수께서는 유대에서 가르치셨습니다.

2. 예수와 제자들은 갈릴리로 돌아가기 시작했습니다.

3. 그들은 사마리아를 지나 우물이 있는 마을에 멈췄습니다.

4. 예수의 제자들은 음식을 사기 위해 마을로 갔습니다.

5. 예수께서 우물가에 계실 때, 한 사마리아 여인이 물을 길으러 왔습니다.

6. 예수께서 그녀에게 말씀하셨습니다. "내게 물을 좀 주시오."

7. 여인은 놀랐습니다.

8. "어찌하여 저에게 말씀하십니까?" 그녀가 물었습니다.

9. "당신은 유대인이고 저는 사마리아 사람입니다."

10. 예수께서 말씀하셨습니다. "내가 너에게 물을 달라고 한 것이다."

11. "너는 내가 누군지 모른다."

12. "만일 네가 나를 알았더라면 내게 물을 달라고 했을 것이고, 나는 너에게 생수를 주었을 것이다."

13. 여자는 어리둥절했다.

14. 그녀가 말했다. "주님, 이 우물은 깊고, 당신은 물통이 없으십니다.

15. 그 '생수'는 어디서 얻으시는 겁니까?"

16. 예수께서 말씀하셨다. "이 우물물을 마시는 사람은 다시 목마르겠지만, 내가 주는 물을 마시는 사람은 영원히 목마르지 않을 것이다!"

17. 내가 주는 물은 네 속에서 샘물이 되어 영생을 얻게 될 것이다.

18. 예수께서는 성령을 말씀하신 것이었지만, 여자는 이해하지 못했다.

19. 그녀가 말했다. "주님, 이 물을 제게 주십시오."

20. "제가 목마르지 않으면 물을 길으러 이 우물에 계속 올 필요가 없잖아요."

21. “가서 네 남편을 데려오너라.” 예수께서 말씀하셨다.

22. “저는 남편이 없습니다.” 여자가 대답했다.

23. 예수께서는 그녀가 진실을 말하고 있음을 아셨다.

24. 예수께서 말씀하셨다. “지금은 남편이 없지만, 너는 과거에 다섯 번이나 남편이 있었다.”

25. 예수의 말씀이 맞았다.

26. “당신은 선지자이신가 봅니다.” 여자가 말했다.

27. 어쩌면 이 선지자가 그녀에게 무언가를 설명해 줄 수 있을지도 모른다.

28. 그녀가 말했다. “사마리아 사람들은 여기 산에서 예배를 드리지만, 유대인들은 예루살렘 성전에서 예배를 드려야 한다고 합니다.”

29. 예수께서 말씀하셨다. “곧 너희는 영과 진리로 하나님을 예배하기 위해 그 두 곳에 있을 필요가 없을 것이다.”

30. 그 여자는 “나는 메시아가 오실 것을 압니다.

31. 그분이 오시면 모든 것을 우리에게 설명해 주실 것입니다.”라고 말했습니다.

32. 그러자 예수께서 “나는 메시아다.”라고 말씀하셨습니다.

33. 그 여자는 떠나서 마을 사람들에게 이 소식을 전했습니다.

34. “와서 보세요! 내가 한 모든 일을 다 말해 준 사람이 있어요!”

35. “이분이 정말 메시아일까?”

36. 그 여자의 말을 듣고 많은 사마리아 사람들이 예수를 믿었습니다.

37. 예수께서는 그 마을에 이틀 동안 머무르셨습니다.

38. 예수의 말씀을 듣고 더 많은 사람들이 예수를 믿었습니다.

39. 그들은 그 여자에게 말했습니다. "우리는 당신의 말 때문에 더 이상 믿지 않습니다. 우리가 직접 듣고 이분이 참으로 세상의 구원자이심을 알았기 때문입니다."

40. 예수님은 육신의 물보다 더 귀한 것을 주셨습니다. 바로 자신을 우리에게 주신 것입니다.

41. 예수님은 믿음으로 그분께 나아오는 모든 사람에게 성령을 주십니다.

42. 우리는 어디에 있든지 그분을 주님과 구원자로 예배할 수 있습니다.
