KS KIM / 2026.08.04 캘리포니아에서.

모든 야자수 잎 녹색 향연이며,
각종 꽃들이 만발하지.
하늘 또한 바다처럼 푸르며 반짝이고,
해변을 산책했을 때 느켜지는 고운 모래는,
발 아래서 마음까지 간지럽게 하네.
포근한 촉감처럼 자기를 부르지만,
누군가와 함께가 아니라도.
캘리포니아 여름은 개의치 않고 눈부시지,
겨울이 온다하여도 또 기달려져.

언제 다시올 기약이 없더라도,
함께한 캘리포니아 해변은,
무릎 꿇지 않고 맞이하여도,
자연의 화려함에 숙연해져.
누구의 시선도 의식치 않는,
여름이란 나체 앞에 서있는 모습은,
한줌의 수줍음이나 부끄러움 없이,
캘리포니아 해변은 망설임 없이 다가오네.
이런 여름이 그래서 좋다.

우리가 보는 야자수 잎은 말하고 있었지.
각종 꽃들까지 또 노래하고 있었지.
하늘도 바다도 번갈아 가며 다가왔었지.
해변 산책 할때 느켜지는 고운 모래는,
무언가를 전할려고 가슴까지 아려오네.
자기를 지금도 부르고 부르지만,
이제와서 함께가 아니더라도 .
캘리포니아 해변은 개의치 않고 눈부시지.
겨울이 와도 그 여름은 오래 머무를 추억이네.

Literature - poetry - California beach -

All palm leaves are a feast of green,
All kinds of flowers are in full bloom.
The sky, too, is blue and sparkling like the sea,
The fine sand that settles when you take a walk along the beach,
It tickles from beneath my feet all the way to my heart.
It calls me like a warm touch, but,
Even if it’s not with someone.
California summers don’t care and are dazzling,
Even when winter comes, I find myself waiting again.

Even if there is no promise of when I’ll come back,
The California beach we were at together,
Even if I welcome it without kneeling,
I am humbled by nature’s splendor.
Unaware of anyone’s gaze,
Summer, standing naked in front of it,
Without a pinch of shyness or embarrassment,
The California beach approaches without hesitation.
This is why I like summer.

The palm leaves we see were speaking.
Even the various flowers were singing again.
The sky and the sea came and went in turn.
The fine sand that settles when you take a walk on the beach,
It pains my chest as if I’m about to deliver something.
I still call out to myself, but,
Even if we don't go together now.
The California beach is dazzling, regardless.
Even when winter comes, that summer is a memory that stays for a long time.
