Russia's government is looking at the possibility of introducing some easing of rigorous fuel environmental standards in order to allow the usage of low-quality gasoline in the face of possible fuel shortages, three industry sources told Reuters.
러시아 정부는 연료 부족에 대비해 저품질 휘발유 사용을 허가하도록 연료 환경 기준을 일부 완화하는 방안을 검토하고 있다고 로이터에 전했다.
 
Ukrainian drone attacks have reduced Russian primary oil refining capacity by some 14% as of the end of March according to Reuters calculations. 
로이터의 분석에 따라 예상하면 우크라이나 드론 공격으로 인해 3월말 현재 러시아의 주요 정유 용량은 14% 감소하였다. 
 
To tackle possible gasoline shortages, Russia introduced export ban for this kind of fuel with some exceptions. Sources said that the Russian government is considering lowering the bar for the content of some additives and ethanol.

Since 2016, Russia has allowed only the usage of high-quality gasoline of at least Euro-5 grade.
러시아는 2016년 부터 유로-5등급 이상의 고급 휘발유만을 사용하도록 허가 하였었다.
 
In 2023, total gasoline output in the country reached almost 44 million tons. In the first quarter 2024 it stood at 11.1 million.
러시아의 2023년 총 휘발유 생산량은 약 4,400만 톤에 달하며, 2024년 1분기에는 1,110만 톤을 기록했다.
