Year 5 Entry Point - Myths and Legends

Year 5 were delighted to officially launch their exciting IPC unit ‘Myths and Legends’ with a fun-filled Entry Point.

Our classrooms were transformed into a realm of wonder as the children arrived dressed as their favorite mythical and legendary figures. From powerful gods and heroic warriors to magical creatures and enchanting beasts, the effort and creativity put into every single costume were truly phenomenal. Thank you parents for your support in helping the children prepare; their faces lit up as they shared the stories behind their characters with their classmates!

Throughout the day, the children engaged in hands-on learning by designing their own custom Top Trumps cards - eval‎uating character strengths, special powers, and skill ratings for dynamic gameplay and working collaboratively as ancient cartographers to map out giant, enchanted kingdoms complete with hidden lairs, treacherous mountain passes, and royal castles.

아이들이 좋아하는 신화 속 전설적인 인물들로 분장하고 등장하자, 우리 교실은 경이로움으로 가득 찬 공간으로 변했습니다. 강력한 신들과 영웅적인 전사들부터 마법 생물과 매혹적인 짐승들까지, 모든 의상에 담긴 노력과 창의성은 정말 놀라웠습니다. 아이들이 준비할 수 있도록 도와주신 학부모님들께 감사드리며, 아이들은 자신이 만든 캐릭터에 얽힌 이야기를 친구들과 나누며 얼굴에 환한 미소가 가득했습니다!

하루 종일 아이들은 직접 손으로 자신만의 맞춤형 탑 트럼프 카드를 디자인하며, 캐릭터의 강점, 특별한 능력, 기술 등급을 평가해 역동적인 게임 플레이를 구현했고, 고대 지도 제작자처럼 협력해 숨겨진 은신처와 험난한 산길이 가득한 거대한 마법 왕국을 지도에 그려냈습니다, 그리고 왕실 성들.
