Join us in welcoming Richard to the Tenby Schools Penang community! A familiar face in Penang, Richard is back after spending 7 years in Bangkok, bringing his wealth of experience and enthusiasm to our school.

With a degree in Mathematics from Leeds University, Richard has spent 20 years teaching IGCSE and IBDP Mathematics throughout Asia. His experience with IGCSE and IBDP Maths, along with his role as a Theory of Knowledge coordinator, aligns with Tenby’s innovative approach to education.

Richard isn’t just about numbers—he’s a keen backgammon player and can’t wait to kick off a new CCA dedicated to the game. Outside the classroom, you’ll find him indulging in Penang’s unbeatable food culture (move over, Thailand! or exploring the island’s stunning nature on his bike or with his dog.
